Please help weird bug

For somereason when i get on simcity 4. after i see my region.. there is lines . it is as big as twelve squares. good thing their seethrough. when i ignored it.. i go in to my city... now i can't see the grid or my building placement!! help

I tried reinstalling but that didn't help.

that URL did not help, that is imageshack's main page, but I suspect your talking about the 1600x1200 resolution bug, if you are running the game at 1600x1200 resolution this is a known issue, change your resolution to something smaller, then once you go into each city and save it will fix the region view

Edit :i lowered the revolution to 800x600 and it is still likt that

Change you picture to a .jpg and it might hang around longer. As for the problem, I have no idea.

looks to me like u have a problem with your video card...... which one are u using?

was your resolution set to 1600x1200? if it was and you changed it, did you enter each city square and resave it? if not, you will need to do this for the region view to update, if you are still having issues, we will need more info from you in order to try and diagnose this issue,

please follow this thread and post as much info as possible, including version/revision of sc4 and version/revision of your video card and driver.

i have the same problem. when the game loads, i get those lines in region view. once i move around and stuff, they disappear and never reappear until i restart the game.

i've had this happen to me on 3 different ATI graphics cards when the game was run above a 800x600 resolution. since i have yet to experience this on an nvidia card, i attributed this problem to the graphics card.

however, considering the lines disappear pretty easily, i don't really consider it a problem. but if they don't disappear for you, it's probably a limitation on your graphics card. lower resolutions and lower details.
