Heres the image. i fixed the building and grid problem. but still have this.

For somereason when i get on simcity 4. after i see my region.. there is lines . it is as big as twelve squares. good thing their seethrough. when i ignored it.. i go in to my city... now i can't see the grid or my building placement!! help I tried reinstalling but that didn't help.

wel NaM helped a bit. but it still says long. atleast their not complaining.

Hmm from what i see in my town (i use the same thing) it does actully build all at once. hope this helps!

I found this small apartment building. i checked it , it said long. when i use the route query, i see a car drving to work (commercial).BUT it is just 6 blocks away!!!! i am like wth? the car was useing my avenue to get there. is there a modd to get smooth the commute a little?

it could be that one of your probs is interfearing with the textures of the building. if you have any added modds or props..

try to spread your resident zone. don't just putt it in one place. split it up and surrond it with commercials. put the industrias about 5-20 tiles away. then build mass transit and thats pretty much it.

Hmm heres a tip do not use streets or roads. (well try anyway) roads are fine near the beginning but when it comes to traffic (depending where) you either have to destroy it or replace it with an avenue or highway. it way destroy some building (depending where) but it is kinda worth it.

I have both indrustrial and commercial. i filled the whole medium map. i have more commercial and industrial area than res. all built on.

How do you get more jobs than res? I keep getting abonded buildings cause of job.
