Wow Frogface, that last overview looks simply stunning!! Great work you've done!! Undergroundmap looks great. Your journal has a nice distinctive feel to it; I love to see that in CJ's. I think it's very hard to achieve a look of your own, but you have definately managed a fantastic job in doing just that! Keep it up!

Got to say I third Bokrif's statement:

    The realism.

    The transportition.

    The feeling.

    The region view.. 44.gif

It is just one of (if not the best) CJ's!
Great! [endquote]

LOL, Metrobus fare increases, another sad day in Thames.8.gif  Thanks for the Pro-THAMES (Pro Trains - Halt Auto and Motorway ExpansionS) mention. 9.gif
Great update again, brilliant thinking combining the new Mainsborough Metro Map with Thames Metrobus fare increases.  I also like the new addition to the power facility.  Now we need to know is it faster taking the more direct Central subway line from Mainsborough Central to the airport or is Thamesrail's Airport Express a better choice42.gif

Haven't been here in a very long time, but I am happy to see this CJ is still alive and doing great. A nice achievement!

Well, tis looks lovely as always, Frogface. I love the maps.

I was just wondering, how would you pronounce those various Thamesian words? It keeps on giving me the impression that people would keep on choking everytime they said anything in Thamesian. 3.gif

half my exams are out of the way (until week after next)
so I decided to do a small update...

    replies
Crimsongui: thanks for commenting, glad to hear 48.gif
wallasey: i've been looking through the STEX for a gate like that but I cant find one. might be time to dust off the BAT 3.gif
but im afraid that when pedestrianising the area Mainsborough council went for the cheap option 2.gif
(seriously though I will probably replace them to better fit into the rest of the area which has been using sandstone tiles. and thanks for mentioning it since now I have to agree. The sandstone looks much better 19.gif)
jacqulina: thanks for the comment 44.gif
oroen:thanks, it does take time to build such an extensive system 10.gif
bokrif:thanks, the british homes are by gascooker, rp2005 and some are my bats too 1.gif
highstreet: just search for NDEX on the stex and you'll find it 1.gif
mambomumba: lol, well i'm glad to hear that you'll visit more often 44.gif not a problem though. life is busy and its hard to keep right up to date with CJ's 2.gif
    Glenni: thanks 44.gif
fgottes: sharp eye for noticing that 2.gif well yes there are not many parking facilities in town so they try to utilise every space possible 2.gif
    Cjah:thanks 48.gif
LordoftheWise:thanks! from the beginning the intention was simply to make a CJ that looked like Britian but now im trying to start to make it a bit more unique 2.gif
Simworld 056132:lol, the best thing to do is to steal shamelessly from real life. then you'll have a great transport system 44.gif if only it was that simple 2.gif
    sloppet:thanks for the comment 5.gif
fgottes:to answer your question, FASTER would be airport express but CHEAPER would be the metro. A bit like the situation at Heathrow airport in RL. 19.gif
    FullStrenght:thanks 5.gif
Tommy_Vercetti3: thanks for your comment, as for the snow i thought the easter egg would make a nice mini update 10.gif
ILL Tonkso:thanks for your comment 44.gif
Shadow_Assassin: If your at a party and you see a Thamesian a good trick to play is to ask them to speak Thamesian then offer then a cough sweet 9.gif
    DragonAnime:cheers for commenting 44.gif
J.O.: good to see you post after such a long time 18.gif

    now after that reply-a-thon

Wow, no tonly can you make awesome lots, but your CJ is unbelievable.  The over all map is fantastic.  The transportation is realistic and fits in well.  I love your subways,  looks just like the ones on google when you look up subway maps.  This is an awesome CJ.

Looking back on it, I can see why you chose the current pedestrian tiles (to fit in with your bus stoops?) Anyway, great use of monorail, something in Simcity that a rarely use! However, a great update and I am glad to see some more diversification in Thames!

PS Love the look of the M2!

FF, this is the greatest CJ I have ever seen. It is the only CJ I try to visit and always check to see if there is an update. Good luck with it in the future.

I think I may have seen a Chinatown Gate in the Japanese BAT Thread and have also found a Take Away that may fit into your Chinatown. Hope it help's. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=12674

So, you have your exam's. I have my pre-lim's (for Standard Grade) and I this is hard, so I can only imagine how hard that is. Good luck again.

Now, that's looking good. It would've been logical, however, for the monorail to go to the airport, since it's high speed travel and everything...

    But hey, good job.

That is absolutely incredible! The cities are extremely realistic, and the custom bats make it very origional.

I've noticed that logic and city planning are mutually exclusive for the most part. 2.gif

Thames is looking as beautiful as ever, frogface. Wish my cities came out as realistically as yours do. Two thumbs up!

Wow 44.gif another great transportation system and another great tour.19.gif  There were some pretty sights on that trip especially passing the Radcliffe Library.10.gif  The only thing missing was the monotrail train.8.gif  Thames Electric's new tower fits in very nice; however I'm surprised the Victorians weren't complaining that it is a fallic symbol.12.gif

Froggy, I hate to remind you as I am enjoying Mainsborough way too much, but before Sucess Journal sidetracked us we were on a journey up the coast toward the outer islands.  I believe leaving Membury to Severn.  Looking foward to more.17.gif

[Edit: Congrats of completing the 1st half of your exams and best wishes for success.]

39.gif I just realized I had 99 posts and wanted to celebrate #100 here.39.gif39.gif39.gifImagine only 3 years for 100 posts, at this rate I'll hit 1,000 in only 30 Years.10.gif

Welome to the M2 station - Change here for Pro-THAMES!9.gif

When local press showed up at the Pro-THAMES (Pro Trains - Halt Auto and Motorway ExpansionS) office still located in the Centre Point Tower in Thames for comment about the recent completion of the M2 loop, the press found the offices locked shut and a note on the door stating: The completion of the M25 [sic M2] debacle is a national disgrace but we're to busy to comment as we're off to Mainsborough for some Kong Pao Beef and a ride on the monorail line.

    Great update.

Sorry to see that building is deterorriation (misspelled I guess) near Humber station.
Great those little houses at St. James station.
Great to see the monorail again. Simtropolis contributors seem to forget about it in the CJ's around.
