how did you grow so many UK suburban semis? If you've adjusted them, i'd love to see your values as, i can't even get them to grow as relaibly as you have. In the end i resorted to making them 2x2 LOTs to get the effect shown in your CJ, yours all seem to still be 2x3 LOTs....mmm.

Great non-grid terrain-conforming CJ, BTW - a nice change to the usual over-formal stuff!44.gif

actually i cheated slighty 43.gif I downloaded the mod that disables all maxis buildings.. it only lets BAT stuff though, almost creating an english tileset, there isnt really as much variety as before 34.gif but then again that is realistic in a way since most british suburbs look the same regardless of where you go. The R$$ homes seem to grow very well mainly because there is hardly anything else in that category R$$2x3, but ive found it much more difficult to grow your latest rowhomes since it competes with the amsterdam stuff and odd_from_sweden's rowhomes 45.gif

ahhh - that explains it then. If only there was a way to make a proper new mod UK tileset  42.gif- it should be easier to make 1x1 zones of the new UK terraces as there is little MAXIS or ST competition. Your layouts still look very UK, though, esp with RP's stuff as well. I like the way you have gone beyond the game's North American contraints and made it look really organic!44.gif

Wow! Just found this CJ and it's amazing! I love the detail, it makes it feel like a real city's development. I love the new 'Thames South Street' station, and am extremely impatient. When are you uploading it?!

Hey frogface, it's been a while. I can remember your first CJ (I think it was at least), San Frogfaceco. That CJ was awesome, but this one is off the charts amazing. This CJ takes realism to a whole new level. The farms and small towns are great and very realistic. Plus, the terrain mod looks great with the region as well. This is one of the best CJs out there, I can't wait for more updates!

    Keep up the great work.

That must be the new british rail modd station. Anyway, great work. Just one thing, sometimes it is hard to read the text against the background. I would recomend putting a semi-transparent box behind it.

Frogface, avidly following this exiting CJ. I would like to know how you got the ground so green and where that mod that stops Maxis buildings came from. I only ask becuase I will shortly be starting my own Cj about Bolton in Greater Manchester and I want to be sure that things look perfect like they do in your cities!

Thanks and keep up the good work!

I like those regeneration plans, very well done!

actually i cheated slighty I downloaded the mod that disables all maxis buildings.. it only lets BAT stuff though, almost creating an english tileset, there isnt really as much variety as before

I've been trying to find this mod all over Simtropolis, but could'nt find them nowhere. Where did you get them? I could use them in my own regions as well.

I must say that this CJ is great!
I really like the little extras you put in, like the police cars, the ad and the picture of the thugs. (from various pages)

It would be cool if the rail tracks you made were completed and released on the STEX.

Looking forward to see the new golf course.

the mod can be downloaded here, i MUST warn you that if you try this out you will need to have a LARGE collection of bats otherwise it'll look more repetative than 10 wren insurances in a row 14.gif
the_crispbread_witch:i attached the rail lots to my post earlier but nope sorry i dont think i'll be able to finish them to get them up to STEX quality 45.gif
