    Thanks Railrod!

To all - An update should come sometime this week. I am wrapping up on my final English project and exams don't start for another 2 weeks so I should pull in 3 or so updates before then. Then I'm off to the Bahamas for a week! 10.gif.

    49.gif Update 21

    Resort Hotels On Covina Coast

    signs8yx.jpg

Finally it is time for update 21. Let's kick things off with an environment report for Covina!

    report2wa.jpg

Since Covina has grown into an immense city, and its location is just right, the city planners have preserved a three mile stretch east of the city of resort hotels facing the Rowell Sea! Take a look at the development:

    vacationbeachjan23001118538284.jpg

The strip is located east of Covina. From the picture, you can see that access to the strip is available through the Covina Monorail System, and the only avenue, Tropical Blvd. So far, there are only three resorts on the strip, but more five star resorts are to be coming in the future.

Really great update Mike...I really enjoyed the Environment Report and the ads for the resorts is fantastic.  The Resort Strip itself is looks incredible.  I also like how you have the golf course spread out there....

The environmental report was a good idea, as were the hotel advertisements. The golf course looks nicely laid out and fits in great between the hotels and the beach. Of course the overhead highway sign was a nice touch as well.

    49.gif Update 22

    The Rowell Star Resort

Thanks Oreon and Compromise for your comments!

Today's update will focus on the strip's most recent resort, the Rowell Star!

    vacationbeachjan24001118609560.jpg

The Rowell Star is located right next to the Spring Rapids Resort. It is a fine touch to the ritzy Tropical Blvd. With a tropical atmosphere and tons of palm trees, the main hotel offers 1,000 rooms!

    vacationbeachjan24001118609577.jpg

The Rowell Star has many activities, such including tennis. There are five tennis courts located on the east yard of the facility with beachfront access.

    vacationbeachjan24001118609872.jpg

With the great food, the beachfront property, and the activities, nothing beats the pool here at the Rowell Star! The pool is a whopping 173 feet by 100 feet! It can hold over 5,000 Sims! Also, surrounding the pool are some luncheon bars, and tables and chairs with umbrellas and your own personal palm tree!

    vacationbeachjan24001118609893.jpg

The resort itself has an amazing atmosphere. Located on 1200 feet of white, sugary sand with crystal clear-blue water, the Rowell Star boasts the best beachfront on the entire strip! Snorkeling, deep sea diving, and excursions to other islands are some of the top activities here at the Rowell Star!

    vacationbeachjan24001118609935.jpg

The Central Yard shown here is the front of the Rowell Star complex, facing the sugary beach. With shady palm trees and smaller pools, the Central Yard is the main meeting spot for families during the vacation. The main lobby is just a walk inside the Central Yard.

    vacationbeachjan24001118610025.jpg

The building itself is extravagent. You can request an ocean view room with balcony, or a pool/garden view with Covina's downtown skyline in the distance. The tower has 30 stories, and 1,020 rooms. Tennis courts and an outdoor bar/club are located on the roof.

Here is an advertisement for the Rowell Star!
