Hi, jacqulina. 2 replies! Thank you. That shopping area pretty much grew on its own. I like the cafe that developed across the street from the shops. Maybe I should get the historical button out?

Hi, cleaner475. 2 replies! Thank you. Yes, that is a packed street, and it took me by surprise. My CJ is all about looking at the small details in the game that often go unnoticed, and incorporating them into my storylines. And several viewers have already mentioned the soap opera likeness.

Hi, penguin007. Well, Will, you're here every episode, right? 2.gif

Hi, rct3twins. Thanks, and I like your avatar.

Hi, Mike the Mayor. Yes, all maxis is pretty rare here in the CJ section, but fortunately it has its place. And I enjoy making the transit maps, so I'm glad you enjoy them.

Hi, Zipme17. 'OK' is a relative term... you'll just have to stay tuned!

Hi, suplado!. Yes, some of the story's threads are coming together. And I'm hoping that the next episode won't be far away.

Hi, Schulmanator. That picture is fantastic! Purrfect for Halloween.

Wow I've been missing out! Excellent work with your attention to detail, it's really good. Nice suburbs, and really nice monorail map. Nice to see a great use of transportation in this city! 4.gif

I've been noticing you haven't used any custom content. It's hard to believe anyone could make an awesome cj like this without any custom contents.

    Season 2: Episode 16

Detective Andrew Bridge arrives at the Port Sinclair ferry terminal. So far his plan seems to be working, and nobody seems to be following him.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Breathing an inward sigh of relief he starts to walk up Ferry Street to the monorail station, only to find himself caught up in some sort of protest. The mayor of Port Sinclair is opening the new extension of the monorail to Derna, and some of the simcitizens of Port Sinclair are unhappy about this use of city resources.

After an initial moment of panic, Andrew calms down. He thinks that any attention will be on the protesters and he will be able to slip past them, unnoticed.

Unfortunately, as he is about to cross Sinclair Avenue, one of the protesters grabs him, and whispers instructions in his ear. Andrew is hustled up Ferry Street close to where the mayor is making his speech.

Despite his predicament, Andrew stares with amazement as the monorail station comes into view - by the mayor's side is none other than Jean Reichle, Wexlin's mayor. Andrew catches part of the speech...

"...and I am very pleased to announce a new partnership with Wexlin. And to celebrate this new partnership Mayor Reichle and are pleased to announce the next monorail extension!" announces the mayor as he unfurls a banner.

Just as Andrew glimpses the route of the extension he feels a sharp jab in his neck...

Hi, Mikeaut1. Welcome to Ellis Valley! Yeah, I like transit, what can I say 2.gif

Hi, KingTitan. Thanks! Yeah, when I say vanilla I mean it. I actually don't mind the original colors - they indicate that the simcity world is a different place to where most of us live...

Hi, penguin007. Well, Will, you didn't have to wait long 4.gif

Hi, rct3twins. If you take the time, and develop slowly, and fudge things on occasion, it can work. It is one of the reasons for the slow development of the towns...

Hi, politicman. Great start? Well, I suppose it is only on page 11 after 1 year+, so maybe that's a start 4.gif.

Hi, calibanX. Thanks, I'm glad you like the maps.

Hi, jacqulina. 2 replies! Thank you. That shopping area pretty much grew on its own. I like the cafe that developed across the street from the shops. Maybe I should get the historical button out?

Hi, bbfan02. Thanks, I enjoy it when the plot starts to thicken and I can show off some transit.

Hi, skram. Welcome! You'll just have to stay tuned...don't touch that flipper.

Hi, suplado!. Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying the storyline.

Hi, Darmok. Always good to see you here, and you may need some extra snacks - the story is starting to heat up! (PS - your reply cracked me up)

EDIT: oh, wait, after seeing darmok's comment, i found out you did it in purpose!

BTW: I have to ask you a question: Do you even HAVE any custom contents at all?

    Season 2: Episode 17

    "Report."
"Captain, the train is just about to cross over into Forthennia."
"Excellent. Someone may have tracked him to the port, but nobody will expect him to be shipped out by rail."
    "Yes, Captain. Further orders?"
"Return to your usual duties. That tranq will keep him unconscious until he's well south of Land's End."

One problem solved, Captain Adam Bligh, the mayor of Port Sinclair, smiles contentedly. Time to put the rest of the plan into action.

Pretty cool stuff. But those mountains in your last region view are crazy huge. Not to mention your farms create a great feel.

Hi, KingTitan. I'm glad you're enjoying the show.

Hi, rct3twins. To answer your question: I haven't downloaded a single bat or mod! I'm still fascinated with the standard game (plus RH of course). And thank you so much for adding my CJ to your signature - I think that you might be the first person to ever do that.

Hi, jacqulina. Port Sinclair wouldn't be much of a port without its industrial area. Glad you liked the mosaic.

Hi, bbfan02. I am pleased you appreciate the scene-setting. It always amazes me how often the shorter updates generate the most interest in this CJ.

Hi, suplado!. I had intended to take the picture at dusk or twilight, but forgot. I actually like the photoshop version better.

Hi, skram. I'd love to know ther plan, too, but the simwriters only let me have the script for one episode at a time. Fortunately they haven't heard that Hollywood is on strike...

Hi, penguin007. I like doing mosaics every now and then, although they can be time consuming to get everything to match when they cross city lines like this one does.

Hi, Mike the Mayor. Welcome to Ellis Valley! I do try to showcase small details, and having some assistance from photoshop helps.

Hi, Sc4_cewl. Thanks! Those mountains are part of Devil's Teeth National Park and will be featured in an upcoming episode, so the simwriters have hinted. And I'm glad you like the farms, I have been trying to make my region have a natural look to it within the constraints of vanilla SC4+RH.
