RHF: Sun Bank did grow. It was a meduim density building with 445 CS$$$ Jobs. The region has about 30,000 C jobs so it is possible to grow it.

UPDATE TIME

Disaster strikes Cedar Plains: Thom Yorke's son, Gary Yorke, died yesterday in a car accident. Mr. Yorke was saddened by the news.

Update 16.0 Gary Yorke Memorial Park stands strong.

Update 16.3 A new Commerce zone was built for Yorke's Purposes.

Great Update.  I really like the park with the walkways and the pond is a nice addition to that.  The road that is running through the park, does it dead end in the park or does it tunnel under the road running next to the park?

Here is the big moment. The biggest update Yet. Its Cedar Plains national Park! NOTE: This new newspaper format was inspired by Sun Valley.

 

CEDAR PLAINS COURIER

 

CEDAR PLAINS NATIONAL PARK IS BUILT

Only just recently, Mayor Tom Cao presented a new plan for a National Park. The park is designed to be scenic and relaxing. Yorke, the lead architect of the city, consults his agency and plans the terraforming. 

 

Update 17.0 The Beggining roadway stretched for the park.

 

 

Update 17.1 The first signs of terraforming begins for a near natrual pond resevoir.

 

 

Update 17.2 Another Shot of terraforming. On a larger scale.

 

 

Update 17.3 After some terraforming, the waterfall area is made. Its one of the most scenic places.

 

 

Update 17.4 After many incursions of failed tree plantings, they finally got it.

 

 

Update 17.5 The Tunnel Going under the Resevoir.

 

 

Update 17.6 A new trail park was started and It was meant to be scenic.

 

 

Update 17.7 The Trail Downhill was called upon to be twisted and wierd.

Yeah, really great update.  I always enjoy those updates from CJ's who show a little of how they accomplish something.  It really helps to inspire me to try different things.  I really like the way the roads comes up right next to the waterfall....Nice Job...

Awesome National Park.  Can't wait to see how it relates to the city/region... will it the park remain out in isolation, or will it become a National Park in an urban setting... perhaps it'll be part of a larger greenbelt of some sort.  The possibilites are endless and worth looking into.

I'd love to see a zoom level-1 shot and a region view of it (which I'm sure is forthcoming).

Cedar Plains National Park is a really Lucious place to stay.

 

Update 18.0 Cedar Plains National Park's large pond.

 

 

Update 18.1 A new small plaza was built on Cedar Plains National Park.

 

 

Update 18.2 Another Park Shot. This time, a overview.

 

 

THAT CONCLUDES THE NATIONAL PARK UPDATES....FOR NOW.

 

Update 18.3 A rather large residential hi-rise is built in downtown. Its Thom Yorke Condominums.

WOAH!  DUDE! That park ROCKS!  Awesome work man, that must have taken forever!  Love the new towers also.  Sorry for the lack of comments on my part, I have been suffering from a bad case of RLS. In fact I only have time to check four or five CJs, I am very glad I choose this one. Awesome work, keep at it!

Well, I've been playing Cedar plains for a long time. It is currently about 180 Sim years old. Vote on this please. I'd like to hear opinions of different people.

 

A) Continue with Cedar Plains growth, I like it.

B) It's getting a bit boring so....start a new city.

The Cedar Plains daily says that 100% of sims in this city are totally employed. The mayor is overjoyed at hearing this story.

Looks good.  Is that poll still open by chance?  I would say start a new city even though this  one is far from boring.  Ethier way I will be happy.
