Hey KOSC, really like the new banners...

I really like the way old town has come along.  The buildings look great, but I like to see the small details that enhance a pic.  In this case, it's the palms and other greenery between the buildings, nice touch.

I really like what you are doing with the freeway.  Especially the way it just seems to snuggle right up next to Old town.

Wow, you destroyed you downtown.[:0].....What will we get to see in it's place

This is one meticulously planned city with all its amazing parks, its transportation network and attention to detail. I don't know how you can have the patience to pull off such beautiful cities . NAM really does perk up a city's transportation network.

UPDATE 26

Scenic Downtown, and Highway Build

 

26.01 First, we are looking at the the new Broadway.

 

 

26.02 A new elevated road park was built for a easy and fun ride between Broadway, and Westminister Blvd.

 

 

26.03 A rather large new Highway, the I-148, is being built for unknown purposes.

 

 

26.04 After proper digging, we get this.

 

 

26.05 Eventually an embankment was built.

 

 

26.06 At first, bulldozing of Larus and Berkner Bank. Then, a new commercial district.

 

 

26.07 Thom Yorke's new office, Dominion Tower, is the state of the art office in Goldenrod City.

 

 

26.08 Oh my god, J Phillips II Tower is Built!!

 

 

26.09 Then, a southern view of the Embankment.

 

 

26.10 Then, a final shot of downtown, after the Iolite Spire was built.

I really like what you did there in 26.02.  The elevated road park is a cool idea, but I like how you ran the avenue underneath it.

I love all those skyscrapers with the highway rolling right through them! Also I love how you put those Jeronij fences with the green spaces in your cities. Very nice looking!

Ok, today i'm a bit happy as I finally got my school Project done! Yay! Don't worry if I over respond to your posts, I'm just a bit overreactive now.

 

Jacqulina: Thanks for the pretty comments as usual, I am using Smoncrie's Hole Digging Lots ver. 2 . They are a wonderful tool for making sunken highways, tunnels, etc. I terraform with both that and road plopping.

 

Dhoppeii: Always great to see you around! The Sunken Highway in downtown, the Idea came to my head after imagining a picture of Los Angeles near downtown, with the 101 freeway. The Elevated Park was mean for looks first, and the avenue underneath was a shortcut. The road above was also a shortcut to old town.

 

SC4 Meister: Thanks man! You've been following this CJ from the beginning and I think you deserve a token of appreciation along with others. The Skyscrapers...hmmm...The under construction one you see on 26.10 is Rashika's Iolite Spire. It is a CS$$$ with 1,668 jobs and you can find his stuff in The Massively Giant Japenese Galley, under eddiem's signature.

The elevated park is similar (although slightly different style) to many deck parks that city planners today are implementing across the U.S. (I am thinking of the I-10 tunnel in Phoenix, AZ, or the NJ-29 tunnel in Trenton, NJ, among others).

Nice detail with the sunken freeway construction, and the commercial district looks impressive overall.

Now that is some AMAZING TERRAFORMING!!! I've seen so many city journals with the use of CycleDogg's new mod in it... and I guess the bandwagon appeal is catching onto me... everyone else is using it! Maybe I should!! That is some great Terraforming let me tell ya... it looks magnificent. And also that downtown is looking real good! Can't wait to see more!

Wow, KOSC, this CJ has really taken off lately! Your use of cycledogg's mod is excellent, and the downtown shots are amazing, chock-full of BATs, just like I like it. Keep up the great work.

Wow!  Im sorry I havent made it back to Goldenrod Plains as much as I would have liked.

The region has grown so much!

I love the park areas, the national park is incredible!

Also, I like how you show some of the terraforming that goes on before showing the finished product.
The night shot Goldenrod City is awesome.
