    REPLIES

Today it's the Swiss national day...

It's time to me to reply before the list of intervenants become ughe...

To NicolaiS: I'm very glad for that! Thanks a lot for your comment!

To PhilsCafe: I thank you was in France, not in Jura, but it's the same, lol ;-)

I'm waiting to play my city...it's long to wait...I'll finish my summer job soon and then I'll have five weeks of free time...what I'll do without my game???

To Fabiocb: Thanks a lot Fabio!

To asturianu: Thanks! Your city is amazing too! I planned to build some suburbs before to start downtow...

    To siqueira_SCB: Thanks! =)

To ericcarlmiller: Thanks! It's possible, but you speak about the region map?

Yes, is better to make the suburbs with patient and dedication, and yours are very realistic and good.

    NEWS...

I've got my game back after six week... =) No all is allright except that the game crash every 10-15 minutes (the game exit by itself and I go back to Windows XP) Strongely it's when I plop pieces on the edge of the map... I don't know why...

I'm working on my region since this morning, but due to this frequent crash, it's not terrible to play...

    Thanks for your patience, cheers

    Hi from Alaska Mr. Beer...

    A suggestion:

While looking through the beautiful pics of Florence

...really pretty early 1900s small downtown now faced with encroaching suburbanization- box stores, incompatible store fronts and signage- sad, but that battle was over here in the states by the end of the 1970s...

    I noticed this

    mrbeerzotsvn7.jpg

I had no idea for the longest time that you could turn this sort of thing off by summoning the cheat box by pressing the [ Cntr ] and [ X ] keys at the same time, then typing the word tastyzots and pressing [ Enter ].

I don't mean to presume if these are used by you in your gameplay.  They just detract from the pic, which is really, really a fine one.

You've got a very nice CJ going here- I'm a fan.  Take care.

    David

    Yay, Mr. Beer's back 3.gif!

Yet another great update man, I like the suburbs, they're crazy (in a positive sense). But my favorite part is the Florence town center: Great use of JBSimio's smalltown BATs, they look great there.

    Take care fellow countryman 4.gif.

    - Phil

@ dedgren: Thanks for the hint 2.gif. I always wondered if there's a way to turn those darn zots off (always used picture editing software to get rid of the most destracting ones...)

Very nice update, David! Great photos of Florence. I am looking forward to seeing Bellevue, where I grew up, and of course downtown Omaha. Keep up the fantastic work!

Wow, that industrial sector looks awesome. Amazing details Mr. Beer!

Great update my friend. That small part of the golf course caught my eye. I hope you're going to show us the golf course too?

    Take care.

I absolutely love this journal. Definitly one of my favourites. The attention to detail is spectacular. I really love the shopping malls and that industrial section just off the highway, did you make those in the LE?

Also, where did you get those transit enabled parking lots/ back streets shown in the town of florence? I'd love to add those to my collection of lots/bats.

    Thanks!

    REPLIES

    To crazychickensc12: Thanks a lot ;-)

    To Greenbean418: Oh! Thanks =)

To PhilsCafe: Thanks a lot! In my opinion, I didn't put enough industrial sector in my region...I'll see for the golf course! Cheers!

To ThePeoplesPerson: Shopping mall is a homemade lot, using the Auchan retail and some Simgoober's BAT.

Parking lots and back streets are also homemade too, using PEG's transit enabled Alley. They are easy to do. I can send you by e-mail... ;-)

A salut221: Merci ;-) Ca change des cartes complétements orthogonales avec des virages à 45° sans transition de courbe...enfin, merci encore pour ton message l'ami!

To elisokool16: No problems, I'll build the Bennington/Elkhorn area first... Thanks a lot for your comment!

    I'm on holiday!!!

    Cheers
