STEX CD 2

I haven't seen the STEX CD 1, so I don't know if this is already the case. I'm wondering if the STEX CD 2, which I read might be in production?, includes a .exe installer that lets you choose what to install?

The zip downloads from the site often contain nested directories and stuff, which I'm not sure even works in SC4. I'm basically wondering if the CD comes with a tool that helps manage the installation/uninstallation of the components? Even if SC4 supports the directory structures, I think it'd be useful.

Yes, it does. You can put something nested inside five hundered folders, and, theoreticaly, it will still work, but I'll bet ya it'll lengthen the game's loading time. But a few nested folders won't be a problem, and comes in VERY handy when your plugins folder gets upwards of 600MB. As far as the STEX CD 2, no idea, sorry.

Anyways, I can't wait for another one to be released. But I think it should be released at least a year from now so that it can include all the new items uploaded unto the STEX throughout 2005 and 2006.

It wasn't a joke per se, more sarcasm...and as VT says, the ONLY person who knows when CD2 will be released is Dirk, not Sloppet or you and it was a very presumptuous posting. And I think Dirk has enough on his plate without pressure threads like this. If you want a full STEX CD, why don't you download stuff from the STEX and burn your own CD?
