Question about school capacity in dense areas

If I lay out my schools such that their radii just barely cover an area, will they end up with a capacity problem if the area eventually becomes high-density?  Anyone have experience with this?

I think so: I suppose when it gets very dense, the city population would normally increase.

The same issue exists for hospitals. It's just something you have to deal with. Find the areas where the coverage for two schools overlap and place a third one there to space them out a little.

you can also lower the school bus funding (it's at the bottom of the Que window) .  This will lower the radius of the school and lower the amout of sims atttending the school...but like said above...you'll need to place schools between the exisiting school to suck up the demand created by the old school closing it area of effect

there are many school lots also on the STEX...from very realistic per game stats , to very radical ones that will educated all the sims in the town...no matter where placed

Or, build large schools and large hospitals to replace the small ones.

I've found they are pretty essential once the high rises start appearing.

Pretty much no matter what you do, if the city continues to grow and high res buildings start to become the norm, you'll need to add additional schools. Even the large high school and elementary school can exceed capacity. Since I don't like to have schools spread out all over my city, I always leave enough space next to the school to plop another school later. Then once capacity is reached, plop another school, and reduce the bus funding for only one of the schools (to save some §. I have found this to work quite well.

I like the Enyati Urban School for my dense areas. I also like the GooberGen hospital (I have gone over-capacity even with this one!) for my sims' healthcare needs in large cities.
