Hello Everyone. This entry is just an Introduction about me and my experience in Sim City. I am a Software Tester by profession, aged 27, staying in Bangalore, India. One of the many IT guys over here. I had 'tried' playing Sim City many years back (don't even remember which version I played). Around 6-7 months ago, I saw this website of Simtropolis. Saw some of the journals and got fascinated with the creativity of people with this game ! Overwhelmed with the cities and scenes created by so many experts, I decided to start playing it again and give it a better try. Got the game, started learning the basics, started creating some very funny and poor cities. But yes, I was learning. Went through many posts and Mods and implemented in my cities. After few months I was surprised at myself when I compare my present day cities with my initial ones. I have come a long way now ! But I agree that I am still not a good one at this game. From past few days am getting this intense urge to put my city screen shots on this community and get some reviews and support, so that I can learn more and improve my city designs. All my cities are mostly using the contents I collected from STEX, LEX and PLEX. Thank You to all these and other such communities to keep the game alive and constantly bringing new contents to keep players like me amazed. Please bear with my journal entries, as this is my first ever journal (on any website). And I am very excited about it. My intention for this journal entries would be to show what I create in my cities, get reviews and suggestions to improve. Also, I have (and will have) many questions/issues for which I would require your kind help to improve in this game. I play this game 3-4 days every week for many hours (longest being 6 hrs in one stretch). So I will mostly be active with my comments and replies. I want to play this game to learn more about creating Nature scenes, farms, industries and beautiful Residential zones. I already have latest NAM, CAM and most of the required dependencies and custom mods. Still keep looking for more interesting ones. Around 1.5 GB of plugins folder. I have no idea about BATing and 'creating' custom contents. Thats all for this first post of my first journal. Next posts will contain some screens of my cities. I am writing this sitting in my office . Once I reach home today, I shall begin my journey of Journal !
