Fedora Core 13: SC4 install - "please insert disk 2"

Hi everyone. Seeing the SC4 debacle made me feel nostalgic, so I downloaded disk 1 and 2 of SC4 to get a city up and going. Overview: Any way disk 1 is mounted, the autorun loads up perfectly and installs. The trouble appears when a pesky little message pops up and says "Please insert disk 2". After mounting the second image every way under the sun, the installer just cant see it. This should install just fine, even though my version of linux is many years old and not supported any longer. The internet is littered with this very issue. The installer trips over finding disk 2, and falls flat on it's face. There seems to be no "autorun" file on disk 2, this is a shame. Steps taken Sofar 1) Mount the iso of disk 1, install, this works great. 2) Mount the iso disk 2 in linux, cant see it. Install all known 3rd party "disk mounting" linux software just for kicks, cant see it. Install all know Windows disk mouting simulator on linux with wine, still cant see disk 2. Try to manually launch any file in disk 2, installer cant see it. All previous Windows games I have tried, installed just fine. Has anyone found a solution to this? It is a pretty prominant and widely seen error. Disk 2 is sitting right in front of it's face, as plain as the noon day. However, the installer is as blind as a bat and just cant locate disk #2 to save it's life. The only thing left to try is actually burning off the disk to a CD, but I think this is an unecessary step that wastes plastic and pollutes the earth.
