Thanks, bhmantan. I can confirm it was Ver 21.0.7 that I used (I tried again today). The best result I get when attempting to run the .jar file is a window that pops open for a split second then immediately closes (I believe it's Java attempting to run). Perhaps there's a conflict with Windows Defender or some other program on my system. In any case, I'm due to update my machine soon (with Windows 10 reaching end-of-life), so I'll try again then or hold out for NAM50. Thanks again.

Hi Tarkus, Thanks so much for your message. I tried Java from Adoptium, including with a fresh download/unzip - alas, no success. This one has got me beat. But that's ok - I'll keep my eyes peeled for NAM50! Thanks again for all the work you do. Dee Edit: I should add that I'm no computer super-user, but I'm 99% sure I don't have multiple Java installations. Thanks again.

Hi Friends, I'm new to Simtropolis - I hope this message is in the right place! I'm having trouble downloading NAM49, and I'm hoping someone might be able to help. Many thanks to all involved in the NAM project - it greatly improves the base game! - My system: Windows 10, 8GB RAM, 600+ GB free; SimCity 4 Deluxe (from Steam, Ver 1.1.641.0) - Previously used NAM (NAM36) without issue; installation was a snap What I've done so far: - Deleted NAM36 - Clicked NAM49 download on Simtropolis - re-directs to SC4 Evermore; clicked download button on SC4 Evermore - 'Opened' .zip file (takes a while) - Used 'Extract All' and saved files to 'Documents' - screenshot of files: - Installed AdoptOpen JDK JRE - Double clicked NetworkAddonMod_Setup - nothing happened - Right-clicked NetworkAddonMod_Setup and selected 'Open With' Open JDK - nothing happened This is where I'm stuck. Any help will be very much appreciated! I've tried uninstalling and re-installing SC4 from Steam, and installing Java from Oracle, but neither action seems to make a difference. Many, many thanks, Dee
