This helps a lot. It basically answers any question about which networks I can interface with others. Perfect. So, I will use the elevated rail to transition and send the traffic to the other city and then transition back. I also didn't realize elevated rail couldn't carry freight...been playing this game off and on since the day it came out. Shows how much I pay attention. :-) Thank you very much for the detailed reply.

Thank you for that. I didn't even realize there was a NAM section. It's been so long since I've used a forum...ugh. I feel like a newborn or something. lol.

Hello All, I was wondering how one might transition GLR to regular ground rail (heavy rail)? It is probably some easy thing that I am just missing. But, any help would be appreciated. I want to connect the GLR networks of two different cities. I would have trouble using elevated rail in this particular situation. Although, if that's the only way, I guess I will have to make it work. Anywho, is there a lot for this transition from GLR to rail? Or something included in the NAM? Thanks again for any help.

Tram-In-Avenue (NAM) and Standard Rail Intersection?
maied replied to maied's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Thank you for all the replies! With how great the NAM is, I figured this issue must have to do with technical limitations of the game. The point about three transport types being on the same square makes sense. I will probably just end up using the FLUPs or maybe the viaduct rail. Thanks again! -
Tram-In-Avenue (NAM) and Standard Rail Intersection?
maied posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Hello All, Hopefully this is a pretty easy question for someone to answer. I have been using NAM for quite some time and enjoy the Tram-In-Avenue. However, I can't seem to find a way to have it intersect with standard rail crossings without using a rail to elevated transition (first image) and using the TIA elevated rail overpass. I know there is a FLUP that I could use too, but it takes up so much room. So is there some kind of piece available to allow the TIA to cross regular rail? Thank you.
