^To what 78911 said, I agree I have played this game on and off since 2003. I used to just want to see tall in game buildings. However, now I am very particular how I want my city to look. I really don't play the simulator, I'm more into super detail more realistic towns. So I plop a lot. Riverview downtown area...

If this is in the wrong forum, by all means do move. Below is an image of my town I am using a 6C RHW here, however, you may notice that I have an issue here. I am not finding a 6C bridge starter piece, only for a four lane RHW. Obviously it is quite clear what I am trying to achieve in this photo, to get my 6C RHW from point "A" across the valley and over the avenue to point "B". Is that possible? Or is my highway too advanced for itself? Thanks guys.

Ok I want to know if this particular item would work for me. I'm the kind of player that goes for super realism, so I plop a lot of buildings. Now with plopping comes a lot of vacant buildings. Can I place this next to my ploped rci lots to increase demand and avoid buildings going vacant? If you have an answer for this email me. Kazerak2@gmail.com Thanks

This is my most recent one, something I made on Apophysis 2.02 program. The picture is from a 21" monitor, so the resize makes it a little harder to see.

How do I stop fighting the power?
kazerak2 replied to nathanscottdaniels's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
even though you put the cheat in the game still acts like it has no power unless you have a power plant. That cheat just makes it so that building can be built with no power and removes the zots. If you notice in your ticker your utility guy is pissed because of no power. If you haven't already just place a power plant somewhere and run a grid through the city. It will act like you never put it in, however, if there is a blackout you can't tell unless you look at the map. I don't think it can be reversed, have you tried putting in fightthepower again that may turn it off, not sure though. -

Residential / Commercial / Industrial
kazerak2 replied to HisUnholyness's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Well theoretically the game wants you to make it balanced, I+C=R So if you have a city with a population of 300,000 then you should have a commercial population of around 150,000 & also around 150,000 population for the industrial as well. However that is often times harder said than done. What I do is try to stay as close to that rule I just said above & also going by what my RCI bars tell me. -

You can't just place a prop outside of a lot, the Lot Editor will not allow it. You have to make an offset model with the BAT. I have tried to get Pegasus to make some of his CDK lots to do that, but so far, no luck. quote> So you can't make an overhanging building in Lot Editor?

Are there any buildings on the STEX that are made to be used for underbridge use? I just need a small building, an old looking warehouse would be ideal. Just a building that will overhang enough to cover the underside of the bridge. Nothing to flashy though. The bridge is the Brooklyn Style bridge to get an idea of what I need. Thanks for any help! I'm not sure why it has a link going to a Google Search of particuallry?

Different Elevated Rails Styles?
kazerak2 replied to kazerak2's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Hey thanks, thats what I was looking for! -
Here on the Stex I have seen two other kinds of Elevated rail styles unlike that of the one in the game. I can't find the pictures of the two right now, however, I will try to find it later to show an example. I saw the two types of track on the stex, the train that you would download was on those different Rail types. If anyone knows what I'm talking about it would be great if you could shed some light on this for me. I have been trying to look for those rails for a while now and I have come up empty handed. Thanks!

Thanks for all the help, ssc4k's response was what fixed it.

Ok, I got the June 07' NAM nonsense, a lot of cool stuff. However I have two problems, first of which is the roundabouts. In the road section I see a picture a a roundabout and if I hover over it, it says to press "tab" to cycle through the different roundabouts etc... and how the arrow will turn from red to green once it's positioned right. When I click it nothing happens, I see no roundabouts and the arrow never turns green. I made sure that when I installed it that it had the roundabout option, and it does. I still get nothing. Second Issue, in my misc. transportation all the new draggable GLR shows no pictures, I can still select it. I just wanted to see if anyone here could help me out with this. Thanks!
