  1. Game over.....

Once I downloaded something from the STEX (I think it was a garbage utility item or maybe a rural bank or something, but not a money cheat) that constantly caused a game over because it suddenly sent my fund into the negative billion simoleans. Once I deleted the buggy item from my plugins it never happened again.
  2. Show us your Crime Automata!!!

A stripped car: And a purse snatching at the Kingston Market:
  3. Show us your Oddities!

I guess this region's Sims REALLY want to move here... Driving somewhere, but no car in sight! @zahrul3: I'm sorry to double post; it was an unintentional mistake. I think I fixed it now. Won't happen again And no, I don't think I had any mod except the NAM... possibly the CAM, but it was a brand new region and city, so I'm not sure how it bugged out.
  4. MP Sunaker

Fantastic! This is even better than your other South Beach hotels. Can't wait to use it.
  5. Bungalow park

Very nice looking! And this is a great idea, but I would prefer the ability for people to LIVE in the bungalows as spincrus said. And changing the building style would also make it more realistic.
  6. Yes, Paris does have suburbs (which I could do without) and a few malls within the city center, but they are not the sprawling kind I relate to negatively. What I don't like are what I see in Long Island--lots of back-to-back, massive parking lots dotted with strip malls and chain restaurants with no pedestrian or discernible downtown areas. Blech!
  7. Zane900: Are you kidding me? I LOVE the highline! Shlarin: I second all those ideas! I vote for: - lots of green spaces (elevated and otherwise) - fewer Starbucks (or any chain restaurant or store) and no malls or sprawling suburbs - no highways inside the city and less road traffic - a variety of 24-hour public transit options (with access to the airport) - really well stocked libraries and museums easily accessible to all For me, utopia is kind of like Paris... tightly concentrated, culturally rich, and beautiful architecturally... but preferably with dog poop scoop laws and more affordable housing right in the center of the city.
  8. The Capital of the World!

When I read the post title I thought, immediately, New York City without question. Of all the cities I have been to it has always stood out as "the capital of the world" given its incredible combination of culture and diversity. However, ACEfanatic has an interesting point regarding neutrality. So I say, New York is the cultural, and maybe also the financial capital of the world. Politically speaking, however, Geneva might be the better choice.
  9. MP W2W YMCA

Yes, please correct the spelling error. Other than that, nice job.
  10. Splash Point Water Park Wave Pool

very nice, but i would love to see some animation... people swimming and lounging.
  11. The Hamptons

Hey, I can see my house from here!
  12. Almenia

Would love to use this map, but could you make it a jpg and bmp file set so those without the mapper can use it?
  13. Music additions for a mac

This is going to sound silly, I'm sure--and this is probably the wrong place to put this, to boot--but how do you run SC4 in a window on a mac? I would love to be able to do this, but haven't been able to. Would appreciate any help! Thanks!
  14. No road access zot problems

I have this weird problem. Maybe someone has seen it too. I don't get the zots anymore, but when I zoom in close I get these peeved looking sims shouting and shaking their fists. And I can't move any sims into those homes. So, I'm guessing this means there is no road access to these homes?
  15. Favorite Public Transportation System

One of my favorite metro stops was in central Prague; it was really stunning.
  16. The bird's nest is stunning! And the airport... just, wow. Nice job!
  17. Wall Set
