I remember there being a mod which would add zone colors to the transport region map. I can't find it anywhere in the STEX though. Anyone know where it is?

really? They seem to work for me. Even in a cookieless browser.

<p>This is my region Humbipog (250,247 population). Currently populated by 3 cities.</p> <p><br /> <img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhbzlWb" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhbzlWblFLX1NPYzQ" width="1000" /><br /> <br /> Coalmine (164,270 population) - This industrial giant is focused on mining and producing metal and alloy. It has a maxed out Metals HQ which looks like its own Woolworth. The town produces a ridiculous amount of alloy and metal, which sells for a ton of money from the trade port. There is also a trade HQ in the city. Coalmine, appropriately, has a couple very large coal power plants which power the whole region.</p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhSG00R" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhSG00RlZ3dVc3Vms" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhQ1NRZ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhQ1NRZXNoX0JMcTg" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhalZfZ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhalZfZkFJcnlPSHM" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhWndDQ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhWndDQUVnU0ZGSUk" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfha0FZT" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfha0FZTDltdWVRQjA" width="1000" /></p> <p><br /> Circletonia (39,792 population) - Aptly named for its many circle streets, Circletonia is the education center for the region currently. It houses two schools, one high school, one college, and a university. Students from Coalmine have to commute here since Coalmine has no schools! I am trying to start up a processor industry in Circletonia also, but I cannot get any imports of alloy from Coalmine to work.</p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVXdWZ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVXdWZi1wb0RpeU0" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVXdWZ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVXdWZi1wb0RpeU0" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhcmNBd" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhcmNBdzhHQm5STEk" width="1000" /><br /> <br /> The Cork (40,844 population) - founded to get more population for the other two cities originally, it has since developed into a minor city of its own. I have been trying to get it to develop high wealth residential, but nothing yet. Still I only have low and medium wealth in my whole region. The high wealth guys are picky! The Cork has a streetcar going around the perimeter avenue, and a cut off track through the center.</p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVFppZ" src="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwP1g8DU3lfhVFppZkR2eFNOX2s" width="1000" /></p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks for looking!</p>

Thanks for the welcomes back! I definately still have the old model files. I would be happy to try to make less bright/washed out versions of them, thanks for the feedback! I have started another thread showing my projects here, https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=109&threadid=109840 including my new model, the sadly destroyed Singer Building in NYC. Thanks, yticmic

Does anyone know where I can get the BAT? I cannot access my account on simcity.com (it was registered to an old email which I cant access anymore for password recovery). I definately have a real copy of simcity 4 though.

So SCS is definately different. I tried to not think of it as a comparison to sc4, and instead just took in what it is uniquely as a game. allowing you to develop different kinds of cities, seems to be pretty neat, as well as mixing and matching between the city types. I am sad at the missing transportation elements and other more real world aspects from scs, but i still think the interface and graphics of scs are great if understood it is not meant to be realistic. It is cool to see the game in a aspect of governing different social ideas, but it is odd to have such total control over them via individual building control. Anyway, here are some pics of a few: I like the auto name feature, I'm always bad at that. yticmic
