Hey guys. Well I applied the tastyzots code (I had no idea that's what the logos were called, lol), and indeed, the zots disappeared. But when I switched back to a different data view, they re-appeared. The city is fully functional in terms of power and water. It's just the zots that , like rsc says, may have become embedded into the actual city file. I wonder if the "partial" installation of the CAM caused this problem. I mean once the installer said that it was unable to patch the simcity_1 file, I cancelled the installation. But I wonder if it messed up something in my game folder? I doubt this is the case, but just trying to rule stuff out here. Good idea on making a backup of the regions, including the city. Could you guys give me a quick tutorial on how to do this? I tried moving my regions from my old computer to a new one, and I was able to move the regions, but not the cities.. Unfortunately I don't have a previous save of this city. The good news is, this city is almost done in terms of sprawl and planning, I just like to tinker with it, like expand the downtown area, create suburbs, etc.. So the tastyzots code is actually very useful here. A quick question though: Does the tastyzots code apply only to the city I am currently working on or do I have to enable zots when I go to a new city? Real useful pieces of advice here guys, this is cool.

I went ahead and deleted the BAT from my plugins folder but it didn't solve the problem..So, unless the BAT actually changed something in my city's file, I don't really know what the problem could be. I don't know if this might help, but I also installed the Industrial Revolution Mod, the IH Missing $$$ Jobs Fix, and tried to install CAM, but the installer said it could not patch the my simcity_1 file, or something like that.. So I canceled the CAM installation. Anyway thanks man hope I can find a solution since those logos are a bit annoying lol.

v 1.1.641.0. Yes. This is my version. I just checked following your instructions. So I am guessing this is patched. So everything leads me to believe that the problem is with the linked file itself. I replaced my coal plants dozens of times before installing the water power station.. This only appeared when I used the new power stations.. Even after I bulldozed the new plants and go back to my old coal configuration, the logos are still there. Thanks a lot.. I think the problem is in the BAT..

Hi! Thanks for your reply.. I downloaded a digital version a long time ago. This had never happened before, and I have been playing of SimCity 4 for years now. I do not know if this is a patched version or not.. In terms of mods, I'm mainly using quite a few Japanese and Asian themed buildings. Here's pretty much what happened: 1. I used to power all of my city with coal plants. No problems there. The "NO POWER" logos did not appear. 2. Then I downloaded this water power station: http://simcitymemo.seesaa.net/article/231214273.html and replaced all of my coal plants with these plants. That's when the problem started appearing. 3. I unpaused my simulation and let it run for a while to see if the logos disappeared on its own. When they didn't I replaced all of the water power stations with the coal plants, in the exact same arrangement as I had them before- 4. Unfortunately the logos are still there. Hope I'm being clear.

Ok first of all thank you for accepting me into Simtropolis! This is my first post here. So I have SimCity 4 Deluxe edition and my city is experiencing a weird problem. For some reason I don't understand, some of my buildings (mainly industrial) have been showing the NO POWER and NO WATER logos, especially NO POWER, when clearly my city's grid is well connected! I am almost certain this is a glitch. This started happening after the last time I replaced my power plants. (I paused my game and replaced the plants, and when I unpaused it, this happened). This area did not show this problem before! Before replacing my power plants, these NO POWER and NO WATER logos did not appear. As I attach in my screenshots, you can see that my city is 100% powered. No issues there. My buildings are powered as well. Even my advisor says all buildings are powered. It seems to me like all the electric grid and roads are well connected (they had to be, otherwise it wouldn't have worked before). I really don't understand how to get rid of these annoying LOGOS, hope you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance.
