Adding new sports/ sports teams

Hello, I'd like to add sports and or teams to the game but not sure if it's at all possible. Not started modding anything for the game but I'd love to know if it's even possible. I have already looked at the code for Varsity Sports but not sure where to start. Thank you! daLight
