Bit of expansion into the main town/city. Not really happy with the way I went with it and think I may wrap this one up for now. Definately slowing down on the FPS as well, running C:S in 4K and getting down to 8FPS when looking at the majority of the city. Thought I'd share the latest detailing I'd done plus some of my past work on this project. Thank you for the positive comments!

Thanks, yeh the road over the pond is a bit far fetched but gona go with it Anyway, made a bit of progress on one of the entrances to the town with a couple gas stations, fast food joints and some commercial buildings. Really pleased with how the Love's Truck Stop came out. Happy xmas all and enjoy...

Slow progress due to work but here's the first look at the initial residential areas and one of 2 highway junctions. All streetlights have been hand placed apart from lights on elevated roads. All parking spaces are functional, however this results in floating cars on the road sections :/ Thinking I'm going to work on a truck stop/gas station area next on the other side of the highway but we'll see. Apologies for the large images, I run it in 4K so thought they'd look better left in native resolution. Anyway, enjoy...

Welcome to the town of Desona, Arizona... A beautiful West American town located among the red rocks of Arizona, approximately 80 miles from the New Mexico, Utah and Colorado state borders. A mix of classic American architecture as well as modern developments. New builds now available for purchase... (Unfortunately my old save had issues with concrete and props disappearing upon loading so had to abandon it and think the new Sedona map from Ronyx looks amazing. So we'll see how this goes. With over 10,000 assets I'm hoping for a mixed build if I keep up with it!)

Bit more progress. Coming to an end on the small town above. Have created the (almost full) landfill that serves the peninsula and created a block of apartments/retirement home (Not sure if the US has retirement homes like the UK does, that's what it looks like anyway. And to finish have begun working on the main city but this is a far way off! Major city to come... But a long way off!!!

Thanks again for the comments. Slow progress as just want to enjoy it, but have been finishing off the apartments on the edge of the town, put a small fire station in as well as a combined Elementary/High School just outside the town. Please with the way it came out!.....

Thanks for the comments. Made a little progress lately into the town. The majority of car parking spaces are actual working spaces so cars will come and go. I'm also working on hand placing all lighting to get the best positions...

Not based on any area. Just named it California after just coming back from a long road trip around South West America and getting a bit of inspiration. Wanted to start a new project and love the Cleyra map so aiming initially for nothing too big but detailed so thought I'd get some pictures along the way. Hope you enjoy...

First time posting here. Thought I'd share some pictures of my detailed (unfinished) city. I stopped building this one a while back and have just recently started a new city due to a whole load of amazing new mods/assets out there! So before this city goes off to the graveyard, here's where I got to (Unfortunately some props missing as I last played this one months ago...) All I can say is, this mod saved the day when it was released. Used to take 15mins + to load! Town - The main town. Train Yard - The main train yard next to the town. Airport - The city airport. VERY unfinished. Services - City services plus some intersections. (Kinda unfinished) University - Basic University within the town. Night - Just some general shots of the city at night. Again some places nowhere near completed but oh well. If you made it this far, thanks : ) I always try with my cities to make as much as possible functional. So the majority of car parks are all functional and minor roads through security checkpoints etc all get used. My only problem is I'll play for a few days then get bored with the same place and wanna detail somewhere else but it's all fun. Hope you enjoy! And just an overview for those interested...
