  1. Thanks! The problem was with the stock bus template- after talking to Avanya, I tried importing my asset as other vehicle types and the file size was fine with all of them. What I ended up doing was grab some re-upload of the stock bus off the workshop (plenty of those floating around there) and used that as a template. Strangely enough, even re-installing the game didn't solve the stock bus template problem, so I'm still not sure what the problem is- but if I couldn't find a solution, at least I found a workaround. Thanks again to Avanya for all the help!
  2. Yeah, I've tried reimporting it multiple times with different settings, all turn out pretty much the same. I've PM'd you with a link to the source files, Hopefully that will help get to the bottom of this. Thanks for taking the time to help!
  3. The .crp in the assets folder is 25,718 KB, which is the same as on steam (25.115 MB). I should point out that one of the people that subscribed to the asset has tested it in game using mesh info and the asset itself seems to work fine. Still, I'm pretty sure the large file size will be intimidating to some people, so I would like to find out what causes it.
  4. The textures are indeed 1024x1024 px. As for the preview pictures, the picture used on the asset that is on the workshop right now is 155 Kb. Also, I uploaded the asset several times for testing when I saw the file size (with and without textures, different textures and so on), without changing the preview picture, and there was very little difference in size.
  5. Posted this on the paradox forum as well but I think I'm more likely to get an answer here. I have been working on a new vehicle (a minibus) for a few days now. It's my first game asset. I recently finished it and shared it on steam workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=702397036 The problem is, the file size is over 25 Mb! The source files I used, two fbx files- full model (48.9 Kb) and lod (14.5 Kb), plus 5 png texture files, are 311 Kb in total. I tried uploading the model without textures and it's still over 23 Mb. I used blender to make the model. Tris count is 1294, so not a very complex model. What could be the problem? I will appreciate any help.
