1 - Check Desirbility: if it's not the brightest green, try adding more plazas or even try to build up trafffic in the area (only in your Commercial zones, as most others, like Residential, will suffer from traffic overdose). 2 - Check demand; skyscrapers only appear with the highest demands, and if it's to low, like 1,000 for Rush Hour or halfway for the original SC4 on your demands chart, you won't get nadda. 3 - Put all your available services and/or rewards that benefit Commercial, like the Stock Office, and try adding connections to neighboring towns, like airports. 4 - If your desirbility is as green as it gets, you got skyrocketing demand, and all the needed ammenities and still no skyscrapers, try zoning bigger areas, like 4x4 (though they should build just fine on 3x3). 5 - If it still doesn't work, your game needs help. You should probably quarantaine it.

Way I see it, either you downloaded a mod that makes it so (or maybe it's not supposed to do that but it's not working right ), or your game has a glitch. Does it also appear green in the Region view? It would also help if you could post a pic displaying your problem (assuming my lousy browser will display it of course... GRUMBLEMUMBLEGLARE)

prince_of_sims: Actually, I have intermediary DSL internet connection, which has temporarily been bumped up to high-speed for the summer. Also, the pics I'm trying to look at are older, from 2003 I think. danurve: Several times. I still get that annoying box with the little red "X" in it, with the image's URL next to it. Sorry, I guess I explained faultily. I meant other people's pictures, those that other ST users have uploaded to their messages and topics - THEY don't appear. I thought it was something to do with my Internet browser, but I'm not sure...

That's it, I'm sick of this. Not of any threads or anything, but of images. They never appear on my PC!!! Every single thread I go to and there are images or photos in them, I get that ''image doesn't appear'' bullcrap, and other users who reply to the poster's post say ''cool image'' and stuff like that, while I can''t see the darn thing. Anyone know how or why this is happening, or how to fix it? HEEEEELLLP

AAARGH!!! It still won't work! Not even with Firefox!!

I just tried messing with the options thing on IE, even deactivated my Antivirus software (for a second) and disabled my pop-up blocker - they still don't appear. I'm gonna try with Firefox, see if that works... *groan*

Lol, thanks, y'all. Thanks for all your advice and stuff. Trigger, no I don't use Firefox because for some reason it keeps getting bugged up with certain websites (www.detstar.com). I'm gonna try and check out the settings and options, etc. BTW, yes, your image does appear - thankfully, around 1% to 1.1% of the images I try and look at on this site (and others) do appear... Again, if anyone who reads this thread has experienced similar problems and have corrected it with a sure-fire way, please let me know. I know I'm missing out on a load of cool images... boohoo

I downloaded quite a few landmarks from this site, but they don't light up at night! Is there something I need to download?

It depends on some stuff... For one, some landmarks require Rush Hour/Deluxe Edition to work, as they are sometimes created from BAT, wich is not supported in the Normal version.
