I know the site says they're releasing 1st quarter of 2009. I was wondering if dasilva could let us know if this target is still attainable?

I think the thing to realize for everyone is that EVERY viewpoint and opinion requires some element of faith to accept or reject because no one is capable of understanding everything about anything. That being said, I have extremely strong faith that 1 + 1 = 2 and that we are in fact living on a planet that revolves around a medium sized star that we call the sun. I have faith in these things based on the observations and conclusions expressed by many, many people throughout history who were wonderful enough to document and pass down this knowledge. The reason I have faith in these things is the simple fact that the concepts within them have been tested thoroughly and proven quite conclusively to be the case. That being said, I also believe that the theory of evolution, although not fully understood yet if ever, has been quite well validated by observation and study. On the flip side of the coin, religious beliefs like creationism are not based on any observational study. It is for this reason I dismiss the validity of the arguments as religious dogma as opposed to rational belief. It is not rational for human beings to believe in things that have not been observed, but it is in the nature of human mind, which is not good at understanding questions without answers, to find something to fill those voids. The religious leaders of the present have defined this need for understanding as a god inspired need of god. The religious leaders of the past have used this need as a method for political and social control. I stand up and say that I have faith in the evolutionary theory as being a beginning of understanding as to how we got here. By saying that I disagree wholeheartedly with the creationist viewpoint does not mean that I am an athiest. There are many, many unanswered questions for which we as humans do not have answers yet. That simply means that the answers, for now, have not been discovered yet. Not having all the answers is a pretty good reason for living because there are things to discover and understand. In our own lives, whether religious or not, we are all striving to better ourselves, to evolve our knowledge as we strive to move forward. My goals in life are that simple. Enjoy life as if every day is my last. Do this by loving and being loved by my family. Do this by making the world my children will inherit even better than the one I did. Do this and I have done my part to improve the species.

Hey CDI... I've been around... sort of... Real Life and hockey have taken up most of my life over the last couple of years so I haven't had the time to build much. I'm thinking that in the new year I'll stop running my own team and just play for someone else... This would leave me a lot of time for other pleasures in life... BATTING, etc...

Just think about this..... If a god exists, and he/she is omniscient, then can god create something that he cannot influence or control? If he can, he's not omniscient, because he becomes limited... If he can't, he is limited... Either way, the concept of omniscience is simply ridiculous in itself. Nothing in the universe is perfect, so if there is a creator of some sort that fits the model of an intelligent designer, then it cannot be perfect itself. I'm using a Core 2 Duo 6900 w/ 2GB RAM on an Asus P5B-E mainboard. No issues here. I know with other multi-core processors and some AMD ones ( specifically I tried the 6600, I think ) you had to set the game on one core to have it run well. With my new Core 2 Duo, I have had not issues running on both cores. The game actually runs extremely well. If you haven't tried running on both, I would suggest trying it. It works for me. As much as I loved my All-in-Wonder cards that I always had in the past, I have switched to a GeForce 7900, and everything runs substantially better. I think I've only dropped out of the game once since I got this setup, and that was my own fault because of the rail puzzle piece bug that exists. Good Luck.

Hey Buggi.. Is it possible for you to make the source for the DLL available so that some of us who are developers can jump in and play with other ideas?

Whether for gaming or working.... Always keep backups of data... A second hard drive as a backup is not that expensive when you think of what you could lose......
