What is the population of your largest city?

Currently the city of Winterfell has 175,000 people. However, I have had an old city named Empire Bay with 550,000 sims. -
Yeah it certainly is possible, as NAM only affects transportation.

Before you zone hi density residential, make sure you have enough jobs and also make sure these jobs are close to the residential areas.

Placing a ghetto near I-D or dirty I-M helps(lower desirability for R$$ and R$$$). Be sure to place ghettos far away from high paying jobs (clean manufacturing, high tech, CO/CS$$ and above). Any R$$ or R$$$ residences built will decay or become abandoned due to long commute times.

Old city I had a while back with few plugins. Pop: 550,000ish.

Wasn't Robert Moses the guy who built the Gowanus Parkway? I used to live in the Sunset Park, Brooklyn neighborhood and the parkway was like a huge, ugly, hulking green wall that cut a severe gash in the area. It contributed to the crime and overall depression in the area around 3rd Avenue.

Are they cleaned of documentation and other junque? You should only have plugin stuff in there, and preferably compressed into .dat files. I think I have a few raw BATs in mine, but I have to do a cleanup soon as I am getting close to 1GB. Thanks for the tip. Turns out i had a ton of installers hogging up space in my plugins folder(due to incorrect installation on my part). After cleaning the readme files and the installers I now have 1.87 gigabytes(still a lot). That...is...ridiculous. -
