  1. [ASK] Brown Box

You are missing dependencies and textures for custom buildings. If you don't have both plugin folders saved you may need to go back and download all of the dependencies for your buildings.
  2. Green Day back?

I saw them on the American Idiot tour and loved them, can't wait for them to tour again.
  3. Beginning Guitar...Help!

I learned just by getting tabs to my favorite songs and bands. Mostly Metallica, which was really hard when I was first learning...but I got good real quick because of it.

  5. fun screen shots

    LOL, these are hilarious.
  6. i cant install maps

An error should pop up if the config doesn't match up... Do you at least get to the "render screen" which looks like when you load a city? 5-7 minutes? Methinks you need to wait a LOT longer. For small maps I end up waiting at least 25-30 minutes.
  7. Transport Empire

Whatever this is, it looks pretty neat

  9. High Rise Construction BUST for Chicago??

I feel the opposite is happening. There are so many projects going on compared to 10 years ago, especially in the south loop and west loop.
  10. The Leaving / Returning Thread

I haven't played SC4 for about 9 months now. Attempting to get it going through linux...very excited to play again! :-]
  11. Random Facts

lol, very random stuff, but interesting.
  12. Show us your city, road or transit maps!

They all continue to impress me! Great work everyone.
  13. Show us your Skyscraper Districts!

Dsrwhat316, BEAUTIFUL! I love the cobblestone or whatever texture that is. The parks, the trees, it all flows so nicely.
  14. Show us Your Interchanges!

Frogface, that looks really good. It takes up a lot of space, but suburban interchanges like that normally do. I love it!
  15. Repurchased Game

Awesome! I need to get mine working again. Good to hear everything worked ok
  16. Repurchased Game

They should still work. Make sure you have a backup of the regions so the install doesn't overwrite them. But I am pretty sure that it will work.
  17. Screenshots (Pre-Release)

    Pictures look awesome...
  18. HSRP - The End for now

Looks pretty sweet. Greet to see this project moving along!
  19. Dress up that Waterfront

PEG stuff is perfect in my opinion as well.
  20. How to run SimCity 4 on Linux

Just recently installed Kubuntu. Love it. I'm gonna try and get SC4 back up and running. Thanks for this guide. I think it should be stickied!
  21. Plop-a-city

I never really got into plopping everything...it's just way to tedious. Most of the time, as you suggested Godzillaman, the lots go abandoned from demand. So you are left with a giant dead city. IF you want to carefully sculpt every aspect of your city plopping is a good idea...but I wouldn't do the whole city in that manner.
  22. The Republic of Solomon [Adrian Union]

Absolutely BADASS (there ya go, I said it!) One of the best Asian-style cities I have seen in a LOONNNGGG time. Looks really good. Great waterfront park too.
  23. Vote for the Governor of Western State!

None of my transit choices fit the bill. I'll go with Laura, I'm sure her low emissions/clean fuels support can lean towards increased transit.
