I would like to see a mod that can make RCI building capacity exceed 65535 or a prop capacity mod. I like to create HUGE towers, like 3+ miles high, so this would be nice to see. Thanks.

I have a friend who plays this game off of Vista x64, not a single problem in sight. He uses an ASUS P5KC with 4GB DDRII-800, HD2900XTX with Catalyst 9.2, and the most current patches for both windows and SC4. Hi, I asked this already, but, I am wondering if there is any mod or help for me to mod the RCI building capacity. I am trying to make a value greater than 65535 for some of my 6x6 8 1/2 mile tall buildings. Thanks.

I love the spaceport, it gives that "technological advantage" feeling. I was fooled by it not being available in easy for a long time and I just discovered that about 7 1/2 months ago. Bought the game 2 days after it arrived on the shelf, so many years of not knowing that indeed. I don't do UDI missions, usually end up destroying something. And yes, it does boost the high tech industry.

What infuriates me about SimCity 4 is the problem with it crashing to desktop, the face that it cannot utilize core 2 duo/quad, Xeon 7300 series, or Phenom X4, that it is incapable of utilizing more than 1.99 GB of ram, it does not like vista x64, XP x64, or server 2003/2008 x64 with HD3870, and does not move fast no matter how powerful the damn computer is. EA better give the source code to Simtropolis if they care even slightest about SimCity 4. (yea right). Further more, unlike SC3000, SC4 isn't interactive with the sims or advisors which I thought "what is EA smoking" because I loved the SC3000 interaction. there is no sewage management, I have also seen avenues and highways with more lanes than in SC4. Also, what gives with the non-auto disaster thing? I loved the challenge. Where are the hydro-electric dams? Where is the surface water? waterfalls? salt/fresh water? It seems to me that mods have to do the work here, not EA. They downgraded many things, perverted, and screwed-up the game. Done.

I have 9 computers, but they are dedicated to the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC). I personally would not use those for WOW as I personally do not like that game and I don't think that many accounts at once is necessary.

to my experience, any game's serial can be counterfeit or hijacked with a key generator. since this game is ancient, a key generator may have already have stolen this reg number. I suggest contacting EA. hope this helps. EA has a bad customer support policy just to warn you.

SC4 Terraformer works just fine with me on Vista, and I am using x64 version. But yes, as tungston said, so hope this helps.

Is it possible to make a mod (either myself or someone else) that can make per-building capacity greater than 65535? or am I stuck with the .exe problem too? and also, what is the "Amentities" exelpar under demand created? I use Vista x64, Simcity 4 Runs like a charm off of it. I suggest using the www.donotargue.com or www.omegadrivers.net drivers for the ATI/Nvidia product. That's assuming that the game graphics do the funky artifact. But yea, x64 is the way to go in my opinion due to the huge difference from x86 kernels.

Agree, I don't even call it simcity societies, I call it SimSocieties. I can't believe the EA would call that game a simcity game. BTW, look in the EXE with a hex tool, it will say "simcity 5" if the proof on the net isn't enough.

hmm, typical, proves my theory about how stupid the human race can be. (not applied to everyone of course). Why don't we sue crows for making too much noise, and geese for being too aggressive, oh yea, and cows for leaving too much methane in the ozone layer. Well, that's enough of my rant.

saraannt1: On vista you press and hold the start key and press pause/break, then go to advanced settings, then go to startup and recovery/settings, then disable Automatically Restart.
