  1. Dictatorship in Sim city 4!

    mussolini and Hitler also
  2. OK... Thank you for all your suggestions... So here is my final region "Diamond Valley"... and I am pretty happy with it... I wanted land and mountains in the North and ocean or water in the South... The mountains in the North... I will use the Terra-forming tools... Thank you
  3. Hi, What do you think about this innovative railway setup? Gen. in real life there are more than One railway station in any city ... But here I want to use only 1 railway station for my city or cities. Trains from South can go to North, East and West. Trains from North can go to South, East and West. Trains from East can go to West, North and South. Trains from West can go to East, North and South. And the train from the city can go to all East, West, North and South. P.S: Railways can't take 90 degree Left/Right turn... So total perpendicular lines cris-crossing each other won't work. Thank you
  4. Thank you Niels... You gave good idea... I liked the 1st setup... Very realistic... BTW one more question... from where did you or what did you use to get those circular endings of roads in 1st image?
  5. OK....... What do you think about this setup? What I want is a railway JUNCTION where people don't have to get off at the station to board train for other station... In this setup (see the top 1st one)... Eastern railway directly goes to Northern railway... So anybody who wants to go to South from East has to get off the train and take another train that is going to South. **** The 2nd setup is too ugly but yes people dont have to get off the train... ***** As you can see that its a small city so congestion won't be a prob.. I think ****** Can someone give me a realistic layout to lay down a junction. Thank you
  6. Hello, Can the default Maxis railways or elevated railways take ninety degree left or right turn? Or do I have to make smooth curves for their left/right turnings? In my games I never saw them taking 90 degree L/R turnings..... They always go straight and take L/R turns if the rails are smooth curves. Thank you
  7. OK... so I have to make smooth curves for the rails to make them look nice. Yes I want to put railway in my residential/commercial city. So if I put trees on either side of the rail then I think I can lay them through Res. zones. NAM.......Still now I have only managed to draw curved roads using NAM... NAM is too complicated... I wish to use the default railway lines... As I said will put trees on either side of the rail...
  8. Thank you Moose So I need to make them curves but I didn't understood what you mean by to get a ninety degree turn takes about four grids.
  9. @ Nonny Moose haha thank you yup let's see.
  10. Yeah... Later after more searching... I have got some resources... Need to read em' well
  11. Thank you LR I have already toured Josephinia and the holiday spent there was amazing The fact is I don't yet know how to work more on it to increase its subtle details since I just used the Brush tool in Photoshop. Anyway Thank you
  12. Nah its not a easy game at all OK, I am trying to get smooth round curved roads and I have installed NAM. But while playing the game I really can't make curved roads as per my desire. I have this option only for curved roads (see below image)... Is this the option that we get or my NAM is different that yours? The name of the curved road is TLA-3S. Also see the NAM road and the default Maxis road... The pattern and width of NAM road is different than Maxis road. Please help. This is really making me go crazy :E
  13. Ahhh yup now I get it. Thank you Pooh and Ganaram Finally, the curved road prob is solved for me... I will now try to get some curved railway tracks ...
  14. Yup... I re-installed NAM 32 beta ver and now I can see that orange curve button. But I want a curve like this image... See the one ticked... How can I have that much curve? I am only getting the 1st curve type... Infact I can't even make like the 2nd curve.
  15. Yes, I am using the NAM 32-pr1 OK... So I have to use the NAM 31.2 OK... will do that and give a update. Thank you Ganaram and Moose
  16. OK I want to install the I-HT jobs fix Now which procedure to follow to install it? Will have to follow all the procedures mentioned in in the Installation Procedure: section? OR Shall I just download the file from and just put it in the Plugin folder? The steps mentioned in 1st link is too complicated and too lengthy... 2nd link is very easy Please help. Edit: OR shall I only install the jobs_standard_uncapped.dat from Also I feel that using all the options of (specially the RCI demand option) is some sort of trickery and not natural... Am I feeling the right way? Thank you
  17. Wow Thank you Cogeo... But recently I am feeling that I will move away from that challenging natural playing type to fast growth and playing type with the help of mods. So I think I will start using Thank you
  18. Thank you CaptCity So sorry but what is the DatPacker method? OK... I got it....
  19. Hi, I have 3 cities all in one line... City A, B and C. Then I deleted city A and city C because the layouts were boring, the zoning became boring & maintenance cost increased because of air and water pollution. Now after their deletion when I created a new city in place of city A....... The RCI demand for R$ is full negative... R$ and R$$ demand are just above the Zero line... I played that city for 2 hours and population stood at 50. Bored and frustrated... Any helping hand
  20. @Mods can delete this thread... Issue automatically solved.
  21. So Many Questions!

No no no... Only install the traffic simulator... Dont install all those highways and other things... The default traffic simulator is buggy and you will see massive road accidents with only a population of 10,000. And highways... I don't need them and will never use them... They take too much space specially the Tramp and etc etc... I only use roadways, railways, subways and elevated railways...
