Hi, OK see the image: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12360312/simcity_screenshots/max.JPG In the left image (tutorial), the guy is extruding one face(polygon) with the help of the extrude button. And as he does that he gets white lines on the edges. But in my case, I don't get the white lines which makes it difficult to understand whether extude is really happening or not or how much extrude is done. Why I am not getting those white lines? Thank you.

Hi, 1st of all so sorry for my never ending questions. Please don't get tired of me Can some of you show me your railway layout of a complete city of yours. I am really finding it hard to lay down a realistic but nice railway lines layout in my city. I want that my lines can go to all four other neighboring cities through a single rail station. So I want to see how others do a rail layout of their complete city. Even a zoomed out single screenshot of the city will do. I will try to figure out the rail layout with that. Thank you

Infact I also do that I just thought that what someone can say if he sees one of city with US roads, US buildings and European trees ... Lola Lola Lol But Yes, I don't think even the original game developers made the game by think about different continents... Its just a game where you use everything to make the most beautiful city... Else Taj Mahal would not have been included in this game...

Let's talk about the main neighbor dealing that we do... The Power deal. 1st scenario To do power deal between City A and City B, City A must have a plant and City B should not have any power plant or even a windmill. (I don't know about custom contents) Now that is wrong and doesn't happens even in real life too. City B can produce (say 500MW/hr power), but it has a req. of 2000MW/hr. In that case it only have to buy 1500 MW of power. But no, City B can't buy any power if it even produces 1MW of power according to default Maxis rules.... 2nd scenario Say city A has a plant and its selling power to city B located on the right side. Now city C, located on the right side of city B can't do any deal with city A. It has to do dealing with city B but city B don't have or can't have power plants. Does this happens in real life? I think No. In real life, we can have a massive plant in one part of the country and power gen. from that plant can be sent to various states through regional power grids. --- In the game, you have to have power plants in every alternate city or such to do deals. OK... I see.... So that's not a prob much... Yes, in this game, many things don't match with anything in real life. Many of our cities at the end becomes an International, multi-cultural, multi-language and multi-religion city Edit: I also think that you cannot make a 100% Euro style city yet... We can download lots of lots of Euro style flora & fauna, residential buildings and some commercial buildings but few US style Residential buildings will make its way. There are not simply enough buildings available on the STEX, to make a 100% Euro or S-E style or Indian style building. So no matter how hard one may try, the city will be an International, multi-cultural, multi-language and multi-religion city

Hi, I am sorry for my weak English but what I wanted to ask was that; do your cities (in a single region) follow only American style or only Euro style? I mean do you build your cities like that... I bet, yes many of you do. Mine is a hotch-potch. In my city you may and eventually you will find both US style and Euro style and S.E Asian style buildings and plants too. I don't think that I should build a city of all mixed styles... Right?? Actually I never paid attention to this point before as I was a dummy in SC4. But as I am seeing other's cities, other's CJ's & other's ideas this point struck to me. I use the US style road system. Also I didn't used any custom building from STEX. So all my buildings till now are default Maxis US style. I used lots of flora and today I noticed one tree set I am using is gen. for continental Europe... So doesn't it looks funny? Please guide me in this direction. Thank you

Hi, What ploppable trees do you use? I am currently using this and I really love it but its seasonal one is 2*2 I want both seasonal & evergreen (bright & beautiful) ploppable trees those are 1*1. Thank you
