I haven't visited for a little while, sorry. Your CJ is coming along great. I am really impressed with the realism. Just an idea, where the railroad tracks come close to the residential areas, would it not be a good idea for some kind of wall, you know to keep the children away. Just keep it in mind. Thanks for the house, I love it. Maybe with a couple of more posts I can move closer to the beach. He He. Anyways, awesome CJ, keep the great pics coming.

This is my first atempt at this so everyone please be nice. My name is Robin, I work too hard and playing Sim City is my relaxation. Anyways I am using the map MIddle Earth made by Bigabenoit with a few minor changes to the river system. My idea for this map is to create a realistic city, at least as far as my knowledge can take me. Sea and airports along the rivers, lots of farms with dirt roads, small cities all the way to a major metropolis with great highway systems and interchanges. I hope to get feed back from the people so I can create something great and learn more along the way. I will try to update as often as possible. Sorry for only one picture but I don't think I am done with the terrain yet. Please enjoy. http://img89.echo.cx/img89/883/middleearth11167066792jb.png align=baseline>

I live in Toronto and this is amazing, I drive on these streets everyday and this is very accurate (scary accurate actually). Great work, keep it up.

Great start. Very good eye for detail. I really like the angled walkway. Good use of the canal, maybe you should look for a modd to change the water colour to something similiar to the canal colour. Otherwise great CJ.

OMG, transit and highways everywhere, awesome, I love it.

Great landscape pics, like no other I have seen before. Who needs a city when the landscape looks this great. I just want to know how to get there so I can go camping.

I have good news and bad news. The bad news is I got a virus in my computer and it took me about a week to get it fixed. Anyways I lost everything on my computer and I have to start all over again. Good news is that with everything I have learned from Somtropolis, I am going to start all over again with different modds and bats. I think that if you all watch for my name I am going to put this CJ to sleep and start another. I hope to see you all in a couple of days at my new CJ. Bye for now and thanks everyone who watched and commented on this CJ.

Everytime I come to look at your CJ, I am absolutley amazed at the detail you have put into it. All I can say is WOW. Awesome work.
-
Very interesting CJ, i really like the effect you used on the pics. Great farms and very realistic city. Keep it up.

I think the CJ is awesome and I can tell alot of work has been put into it. With that said, if you are trying for a european fell for the entire region than I might agree that the skyscrapers don't fit in. But you have an explanation for why that part of the city is like that and I think you should always remember that it is your CJ after all. I have been to some cities where there is a very old section and than been to the modern part of it as well. If I can suggest, just make sure the transition is smooth if you plan to keep the sky scapers. Other than all that, your CJ is great and I can't wait to see more pics.

OMG, awesome update, I love the sea side walls and I see lots of parking, I think parking makes cities look more realistic. Great CJ, keep up the great work.

Wow, you have some awesome cities, very realistic.

Good Morning, I don't usually reply without any pics so I'm sorry but I'm really glad more people are commenting and are enjoying the pics. I'm really excited that some people think my CJ is top ten material, I had no idea. In the next set of pics I am trying to kick it up a notch. I'll post tonight or tomrrow morning. Thanks Cjah for the words of incouragement. This type of stuff really keeps me going.

Wow, every time I look at your CJ I learn some thing new and get ideas for my CJ. Thanks, you are a great inspiration to me. I can't wait to see more.

Hello Wow, what a surprise, I am very glad so many people commented. This is very unexpected, but very welcomed. Anyways, Cjah-Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you like what you see, it took me a very long time to get it just right and still I'm not sure if it is perfect. The break walls were bugging me when the boats would sail right through the break wall, so I decided to try and build up the ground and plant trees and to my surprise if you are very careful the fishing horbour won't get destroyed in the process. Thanks again. Jacqulina- thnks you for the comment and no problem with the help, I just hope you understood me and it worked for you. MoJooo-Great, a new commer, this is awesome, I really hope you visit and comment again. Also the pic I posted is for you, enjoy. Traffic Jam-Great to hear from you, I am glad you like what you see. GLENNI-Pointless or not, thanks for the visit. frndofyaweh-Wow you definatley have an opinion about my CJ, this is great. My CJ is suppose to be realistic, but I want to make it fun also, so if there are very few airports near water, than that is okay by me. The delapidated buildings right now are not my big concern as I am concentrating on building the city first and repairing any big problems as I go when I can. The majoity of the fine tuning will be done later, at the end, than I will go over the whole city again and show everyone the finally product. As for the images, only if you Knew how many pics I really take, OMG. Top ten CJ, Thank you very much, that is the best comment I have recieved so far and I humbly disagree there are some Cj's I wish I was half as good as them. But I strive to be, thanks again. This CJ is rated 90% by Adonai Graphics LTD what do you mean by this and where does this info come from and who are they? By the way, my name is rooker1 not GLENNI, but no biggy. 22.1 http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7509/arbourlake2215xn.jpg align=baseline> Everyone enjoy the city pics, please. Population @260000 sims now. I fully expect a huge population jump for the next post because I'll be working on alot of residential over the next day or so. Good night, enjoy and comment please.
