Do you wish a save/reload system was introduced?

If it would help with rollbacks and reviving cities that cannot be load anymore than by all means yes. Loading in game becouse you put a building in wrong location or whatever: no, I don't want saves for that, it would be too easy and boring. -

Commercial zones don't need freight deliveries. They create demand for freight and if u don't have freight depot industry will deliver freight to commercial, but commercial dont sell it. They just sell some products that are auto supplied. -
Only in tourist city. Tourists are just generated based on your tourism attractions and approval rate (more here: ), you don't need any other cities in a region to create tourists. Buses and trains will bring you low and medium wealth tourists, ferry high wealths. As for airport it brings high wealths but compared to ferry it will bring you very few tourists, from what I've seen more people use airport to leave your city, than to visit it (which isn't bad, you can place it at opposite side than your highway to ease traffic a little bit).

I wonder if this is due to processing limitations or Maxis created system that simply would make game unplayable if all sims would be simulated, just imagine how traffic would look like in 100-200k city (not to mention bigger), how many buses, streetcars etc would be required to manage it. On the other hand running a city with many skyscrapers, high density buildings and having lets say 20k people (if numbers weren't fuged) would look weird and it's not fun to have such a small population.

Tourist city with no industry or education

I always put some sort of education in my cities, it gives a lot of benefits - less crime, fire, sickness - which means you can save on other services. Especially if you are going to build casinos in your city crime can get out of hand without education. I would go with high schools - they hold a lot of students and you can build classrooms on top of main building so you don't waste a lot of space, it has busses so it doesn't create traffic like university or college. And as you said gymansium can add to your tourism attraction rate. Education beetween cities doesn't really work right now, meybe few studends will travel, but I don't think it will be enough to give you even 1 hat, plus that creates unnecessary traffic which is never good for tourism city. You don't need high edu lvl, just 1-2 hats to lower crime etc and make your sims happy. As for industry you can ignore it all togheter or just put it at the beggining if u need some additional $ or jobs. -
Multiple Sewage plants

Sewage is send to nearest sewage plant, so probably around half of your city is sending sewage to the second plant. I don't think that u can do much about that expect upgrading both as u did. Meybe you can turn off few modules in first plant and see what happens. -

I have same problem, everything works very well in my city from the beggining: 0 unemployed, 0 unsatisfied shoppers (mixed with R, pretty much every shopper walks) very good traffic flow, taxes at 8% (mostly low wealth), 0 commuters (only city in the region) but I'm still getting some houses to run out of money and this issue is pretty much all the time in red on my approval rate tab. MayorQuimbie, can u elaborate on 'high rent' protests? I'm getting it pretty often with low taxes and don't really know what causes it. -
Yea thats perfectly normal. Your specialization costs you a lot of money (hourly) but gives you 0 hourly income (income comes from trade transactions). I have electronics city with -110k /h (taxes are 0% and there are few big police stations, hostpital etc) that was making very nice profit.

Why I never see a detective van?

You can open Criminal map and watch residential buildings with criminals inside - detectives will stop in front of this buildings, than leave - few seconds after they leave building changes apparence from white to normal colours (same as your police buildings and commercial / casinos that are being robbed at the moment), than police cars come and arrest criminal inside. -

The key to gambling and tourism: Hotels?

Yea hotels are key to running profitable casino city. I had one with 5-6 high density medium wealth hotels (most of them were right next to casinos - that took long time, but worked out very nicely in the end) and 3-4 sleek casinos with additional gambling space, they were profiting over 100k / day each + sci-fi casino and 1 or 2 gambling houses. At the end traffic killed my city, I had ppl going for work at international airport and commuting from other city + all of those tourists. -
I think that criminals robs only commercial and casinos (not 100% sure). So you have some criminals in your city but they have nothing to rob. Only harm they do now is being usless people instead of workers / shoppers.

Are your ambulances driving around city ? There is a bug, when u destroy any builidng while the vehicles are out and u rebuild this building , vehicles doesn't appear any more. Meybe this is a problem. I always try to keep my sims educated and put 2 -3 clinics in different part of the city and it all works pretty nicley unless I buldoze some clinic and lost this ambulances due to the bug. It looks like sick sims are walking / driving to hospital /clinic themselvs, but injured need ambulance. -

I think it's ok to have low wealth only. Every factory etc creates all types of jobs which is reasonable, but so far I never seen any of this building complaining that they need higher wealth workers. -

Few traffic tips: - mix residential and commercial zones - put freight depot next to industrial zones - don't use 4 ways intersections - remember that on avenues cars can't turn left so they have to go to nearest intersection and make u-turn which slowls things down - don't create intersetction right at the entrence of your city, just extend avenue a little bit and go from there Here is a video with a ton of advices on traffic (you can also watch other HalbyStarcraft vids he talks a lot about traffic).
