I had a good couple days on NA East 1 with occasional server outrages but really no stop in game play. Today seems to be full of issues. NA East 2 went down, backup up and seems to be down right now. But my buddy is currently listed as having an 18 minute play wait on the server. Game play is fun... server issues are really disappointing... perhaps my hopes were far too high because I actually anticipated a smooth launch.

any word on an early download? If not download set for 12 EST? or PST?

My town (spooner plains) has conflicting reports of resources. IGN says lots of coal, a little oil. SimCity Wiki says lots of oil, a little coal. So i'll be specializing in Mining or Drilling... whichever I have more of.
