Hey guys!, well after practicing a lot with my first city I decided to create a fresh new journal, now showing my much better planned soon-to-be metropolis!, as of now it is a city of 20k people. I hope you enjoy the pics, altho they are not in high def. (my pc is not that great!) Areal view: A city neighbourhood: Castlewood North Afar is Castlewood North University Campus, a small frathouse hiding in the woods lies quiet, the perfect place to live as a student. Castlewood is a small community right now; but our government does not lack ambition, our tourism department has persuaded the department of treasure to build an exact replica of the tower of pisa and use it as a coffee shop. North Castlewoodies love it, and tourists even more since its cheaper and awesome! just look at it; For now that's all I'd like to share if you guys want some specific content please ask!.. next update will certainly have more landmarks and show some of the industrial complex in Castlewood.

I find a bit annoying that Industrial demand goes up this fast... perhaps (most likely) im doing something wrong but, as I get closer to satisfy my R- demand, the industrial goes up considerably, and its like a vicious circle, Obviously this all has a logic behind it but I think its too fast and too much! you cant really enjoy much of your city before you have to expand your industrial areas again.

For some reason I imagined some Extraterrestrial dudes who loved Cities Skylines and decided to invade your game so they can take over your city. xD

My Biggest Fear... Unique Cities!
LovelyQuirrel replied to Robotica's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
I think they will consider this. if its not already a part of CO plans for future expansions, to me this is just common sense since this sort of things are part of real life cities and countries. all we gotta be is patient -
Forkton - Update #24.1 - Work work, and some inspiration maybe
LovelyQuirrel replied to iviaarten's topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
Wow!! the road layout looks SO good. and the use of the pedestrian paths, amazing. Serious question: Do you use some sort of Extra Cash at the beginning to lay your roads? or no (cash) mods at all?- 267 Replies

A Few Snapshots of my FIRST Cities Skylines town which I decided to call... QUILOMBO CITY. These are the very first apartments ever to appear in Quilombo, in the gentle suburban streets of Cozy Park. Chill people The FIRST and ONLY highschool in Quilombo. Conveniently located next to a cemetery where students often jump over the brick walls with their friends to smoke a certain type of herb or skip classes. worth mentioning Quilombo has earned the Safe city award just recently. (too much Liberty?) Of course, everything is not always relaxed and cool, Sadly, quilombo's first steps onto a modern city were a bit... short-term. This is the Main distributor between industrial and residential. in time... Quilombo grew, its habitants accumulated knowledge and wealth through hard work and terrible traffic and at some point a new place opened a whole new world, never imagined by those who one day lived in the small confines of Cozy park. The Empire Hills were born One look at its busy suburban life filled with high rise commercial and residential buildings surrounded by clean streets and beautiful parks and you'll fall in love. Far behind you can still have a glimpse of a past Small Suburbian Quilombo. BUT this just did not appear from nowhere, there is a reason why Quilombo started mass spawning this high rise building and six lane avenues and grassy streets for exclusive use of its citizen yes... and its a secret... and a dirty one! The oil boom has just begun.

Is anyone pumped for this release?
LovelyQuirrel posted a topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
I know I am!! Can't wait til' we can all share those perfectly crazy ideas we all have for great cities But now getting on topic: Do you guys think Paradox will live up to the expectations of a broken simcity fan-base and pro city builders? Do we all expect anything at all after all? Ive got another question, I just pre-ordered cities skylines. (YAY!) But haven't had the time to go through the websites again (im just getting back from summer holidays). Will we have the chance to see other people's cities in-game? does anyone know? Cheers my fellow Skyliners! -

Looking for an Active Region in OCEANIC 1
LovelyQuirrel posted a topic in SimCity (2013) Region Games
hey guys!.. Well, I'm interested in having an active community in one region.. it gets a bit boring to develop one by myself not to say tedious. So.. anyhow, players who have at least 2/3 hours to spend a day in the region will be great so my origin ID is hezc120 give me a shout! we can set it up BTW, I dont have any expansion pack for the game so far. just in case -

Hey mewthan, I dont really mind about what direction you take your city to. however, it will be nice if we are able to manage a region which complements certain stuff like commuting workers from one city to another, education, tourism, etc!... i'm not an expert in this tho and still learning once again anyone interested in playing a region 2/3 hours a day or at least 2-3 days a week. add me up: hezc120
