The Dresdner Frauenkirche ("Church of Our Lady") was built as a Lutheran (Protestant) cathedral, even though Saxony's elector was Catholic. The original baroque church was built between 1726 and 1743 and was designed by Dresden's city architect George Baehr, one of the greatest masters of German Baroque style, who did not live to see the completion of his greatest work. The Dresden Frauenkirche was destroyed in the firebombing of Dresden during World War II and has been reconstructed as a landmark symbol of reconciliation between former warring enemies. The reconstruction of its exterior was completed in 2004, its interior in 2005 and after 13 years of rebuilding, the church was reconsecrated on 30 October 2005 with festive services lasting through the Protestant observance of Reformation Day on 31 October.- 76 Comments

Hi, Finished Buildings Frauenkirche Dresden: Download at Simtropolis ....I think this work will be ready in a week ,but i won't promise anything.. (One Week? HAHAHAHA....November 06)

Well the church is now available at Simtropolis. Thats the church before its destruction in 1945. I tried Praiodan's textures but they didn't look like the new church, they are a bit too greeny :/ Some details like ornaments i omitted completly cause my experience was not sufficient ,.... and the balconies i just forgot, maybee I still insert it. To make more details is possibile, ther are only 86000 polygons....and yes, maybee i will make a little bit dirty , i will see But I think ,my first bat looks great because it is my first bat

Thank you ,using smooth helped to repair the "black glitch". It would nice if you send me the sandstone texture, so i can make also a good version of the reconstructed church ...

Well, I worked again on the church Here is the most current pic: http://212.227.226.42/alt.jpg I just tested textures of the original version but nevertheless you can see the new changes and extensions. @debussyman Well yes, I'm dealing with the Programm for about 3 weeks und I startet to built this chruch one and a half week ago. I won't say i will never finish it, because i done so much just in this time, but you're right there are things i want to make better... but I know i'm just (a maybe good) beginner and i haven't to big expectations to myself now and i have so much to learn .... But if you made this experience i will go and make some smaller projects first and then finish the chruch....
