yup, just save it to your plugins folder and you are good to go. Do you know how to generate a map in-game using the CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R method? If not please tell me; I'll put up a map installation tutorial some other day. No I do not. I've played the game for years and have been using plugins for 5 or so years, but just recently started downloading maps. Thanks! Instructions for installing the map : 1. Open SC4Mapper 2. Once loaded, click 'Create Region' 3. When a window pops up and asks 'Do you want to create a region from?', select grayscale image 4. Locate the grayscale image file 5. select 'config.bmp' and locate file 6. Click 'Ok' and wait for the region to load 7. Select 'Save Region' 8. Open Sim City 4 and load your region You may also manually render the map in-game by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R. A map of the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). All my maps (including this one) require NE2000m.dat to work properly. Otherwise you may get the issue of large swathes of land being underwater. The plugin's purpose is to lower the sea level on the grayscale from 83 to around 25.
