Sorry, "keka", not deka. Ive put up two screenshots, the first to show you what is in the folder, and the second is a little deeper in to see if you can see something i can not. the only things ive moved is the NAM auxillary files from the simcity folder into the plugins folder, and the launch icon into the simcity 4 fl Sorry, still learning, thought i deleted the duplicates.

Okay, so i ended up just deleting my entire mac profile to try and do this again. I reinstalled deka, steam, and simcity. Downloaded and extracted NAM, and installed it. Everything looks like its in the right place Doc\simcity\plugins, but nothing shows up in the game. The game starts and runs properly, it just shows me no roundabouts, or interchanges. That is what i check, and i am getting nothing. I feel like i am missing a step, or am not finding hidden documents or something. i watched a video on youtube, but for el capitan not sierra, and it still looks to me like i am doing it right, but clearly i am not.

Hello, i need help with the NAM. I have installed and reinstalled it several times and i cannot get it to show up. The game will run, but when i look for the roundabouts, and custom interchanges they are not there. I installed a free park file, and that works, but the NAM doesnt. So i will go through what i did, and what is there so hopefully someone can tell what i am doing wrong. I download the NAM for mac. After I look in my download files where there is a Zip, and a wineskin. I put the whineskin on to my desktop and double click for installation. It asks if its for a mac, i say yes. I pick the complete package, and finish installation. the NAM auxillary files are in the sim city folder, next to that is the plugin file, inside is NAM file labeled z___NAM. When i play the game it runs fine, but none of the stuff is in it. What am i doing wrong?

Hello everyone, i have a feeling that some of these questions are on this site somewhere so sorry if i am repeating questions. I was curious about downloadable content for the new mac version. I use to have the disc version on a laptop, but it broke and i had to get a new imac that does not support the old disc, nor does the operating system. I started by downloading Keka, and i really would like to know what other mac users have encountered adding the content through it. What types of items work, which do not. Or really any other issues encountered by trying to get all the good stuff people have made(thank you simtropolis). I kind of know which items i really want, aside from growable buildings. i am just worried ill spend a bunch of time adding things that cant work in my game. Also, random question. i deleted my email that was attached to this site, how do i change it?

i do think a lot of the mods would be cheats. For instance the cheat i use is the black hole waste management. I justify it by saying to myself that a regionwide landfill is not allowed in the game, therefore it must be outside the region. I dont think that money cheats are really cheats, because the money doesnt matter much. But anything that changes the desirability i would consider a cheat, because its distorting the regions balance, but i think its all a matter of preference. Personally i dont like to use anything with an effect because it alters the balance too much, and i too feel like i did not earn it. I also think that its a little easier to manage my downtown without them, because the you can get the game to balance slowly with the region without giant falls in demand elswhere.

yes, it is a graph. For the most part it is completely ignorable. However in my case it was causing a major problem(described earlier in this forum) so i was forced to deal with it. If you dont have any problems i would not really pay attention to the RAI.

i also have no poor people in my region and i am at about 5 million. Dont know if its bad, or good, but only about 5% of the region is poor. I have noticed that the demand for residential will almost always be high, even if the buildings are becoming abonded. i think this is because the city wants poor people, but they simply do not show. I just contiunue to increase jobs, in general i have almost 1 job per person. which seems silly, but it increases the amount of $$ or $$$ the region can handle. i know i didnt really answer your question, but it should let you know you can continue doing what you are doing. I have no dirty industry in the region. dont like it, dont need it.

I am always shocked at the amount of men that have deeply rooted issues with women. Heres a simple rule: if you wouldnt want to be treated that way, do not treat a women that way. This world is a far ways away from being truley equal for the sexes. Even in america men have major problems with women excersizing their oppurtunities. There is a glass ceiling, there is a wage gap. These are true statements and should be addressed without all of the hate speech from men that cant get laid.

an unwanted child costs society a thousand times more than an abortion. Christian sensabilities are overlooking the good abortion does for our modern civilization. Unwanted children are more likely to get into crime, drugs, and have an unwanted unprepaired for child, only continuing the cycle. Also, non christians find all of this anti abortion stuff a violation of personal beliefs. You think life starts at conception, fine, dont abort. I dont believe life starts at conception. Respect my beliefs.

I would be glad to be a feminist if that means i get the right to choose what is best for my body, without intervention from the company that employees me, they do not have the right to tell me what health care needs are best for me...I DO.

It is not up to the state, or the company one works for to decide what healthcare is best for the individual. It is up to the person and their doctor. Why this is not considered a violation of the constitution is beyond me.

This is very sad, these conservatives cannot see that they are taking away the right of the individual(women) to choose what is best with their body. Why not just add micro chips, or eliminate kemo because it is unnatural? Now that the hippies are dying off all of the reaganites are going to far.

Thanks, i downgraded and it now works fine again. I cannot play SC2013 anymore, but that game leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanks to all responded, i have gone back and done a few tricks to fix this and i feel i should let others know in case they have this problem as well. 1. Time: i have many squares near high population areas that have no population, only parks. For whatever reason, letting the time run on them for decades to try and reach the same date as the adjacent squares. This worked great. I dont know why, but it did, and that would be the first thing that i would do. 2. Eliminate the Old, and Poor: This seemed crazy to me, but when i couldnt get through a month on my city i ended up trying all sorts of things, and blowing up high density buildings with old people worked great, because they were replaced by young people that are working(thats my theory anyway), and high density poor buildings as well. Do not let them grow back right away, which will lower the density, and population, but cause a quick rise in RAI. 3. Connections:Raise the population in adjacent cities. You want the population to go up and the RAI to go down in the next cities. Why this helps? i really cant say, but it does. 4. Patience: Keep going in and out of all of the cities constantly. Let it all adjust gradually, as oppose to creating a city in one day and not entering it again until a different square is done. This is a more general tip, but it helps keep control on what is happening in region. Thanks again for the help, i am going to post some shots of this city soon, i am pretty proud of it, and would love to see if someone else has been doing similar designs.
