Llama Herders 2016

The llamas had been missing for a long time, some weren't even sure they would ever return. Then, one day reports started coming in of llama sightings. Word spread quickly and soon there were llamas bounding down every street and alleyway in Simtropolis. All it took was an extraordinary group who worked day and night to wrangle all the llamas back into their pen. The second great trixie migration they called it!

Tinkering Team 2016

These hard workers are tinkering away behind the scenes,  sweeping up the cobwebs, and keeping the workshop clean and tidy. These mods work their hardest so that our creative builders can work their magic. Thanks for all your hard work!

Enduring Dedication Award 2016

Simtropolis has changed much through the ages. The award goes to a member whose dedication, work, and contributions have helped make the site evolve into its current form.

T Wrecks has been providing high quality content on the site for a very long time now and he continues to chug along all the same today. Additionally he continues to be a regularly in various areas of the site such as on STEX reviews, the social forums area and individual BAT threads, to name just a few. 

Back around 2005 and 2006 T Wrecks did the lotting and moding work for over half a dozen BATers. This was before the knowledge of proper moding was widespread, especially among new BATers.   Without him the Best case scenario is that many popular BATs from those days would have had bad stats and substandard lotting. But it's easy to imagine an alternate scenario where instead of prospering and making BATs for years to come, groups like HKABAT, BSP/mipro, and independent BATers got discouraged by confusing moding, tedious lotting, boring documentation, and bumpy workflow, and fizzled out. And that's before the butterfly effect's compounding impact on everything that happened after that point.  Looking back, that was a critical time when the primordial soup of early custom content evolved into a period of high standards and high output, and T Wrecks was integral to that. Since then he's worked on his own lotting projects, and contributed greatly to the community through his forum posts, behind the scenes support, and as a Modderator. His longstanding influence on Simtropolis is underappreciated. 

Most Useful Feedback In Custom Content Threads 2016

This award is for the person who provides great, behind the scenes support for other people's BATs. Helping out, giving valuable instruction, and doing those annoying but necessary tasks needed to bring a quality BAT to the STEX.

T Wrecks seems to be continuously floating in and out of BAT threads these days and I mean that in a good way seeing as how he provides much need technical support.

Stylish Staff 2015

Have you ever seen a more stylish group of individuals? I don't think you have, it's impossible! There's a cheesecake, two Dinosaurs, a superhero spider, a sentient iron, a pony or two, a sheep, a cougar, a couple of buildings, a flag in a ball,  some picture frames, a cute little troll, and a bunch of people with super hair! 

Thanks to this bunch of super stylish mods our site has stayed free of fashion faux pas.

Friendliest Forumer 2015

This award recognizes the most friendly forumer, one who is always piping in with good cheer and making newbies feel at home.

Everytime I open my notifications to find a little message saying this man mentioned me in a topic, it brightens my mood. He doesn't settle for just saying something I might have done "looks great" or that I did a "good job " He also takes the time to explain why. It makes it very clear what my strengths are as a city builder, and makes me feel flattered at the same time.

These creations fill a void that many of us feel came with the vanilla game. They are useful because they make our cities feel more complete.
