  1. New Screenshots

Hillbilly Haven - The Early Days -- We jus got one o dem far engines in town! Hoo wee!
  2. Simcity streams.

    Edit - Sorry. Wrong thread.
  3. sending money broken?

I haven't played yet, but from watching videos of the region play It looks like it might take some time for the transfer to complete. One video had a delay of an hour from when a Dept of Education was built in one city, and it became available to another player's city. Waiting might be the best course of action at the moment.
  4. Origin Friends

Add me if you like. I might actually try the multiplayer bits. I'm an introvert and typically shun multiplayer, so there's that...
  5. Looks like a few outlets like Destructoid are holding their reviews until they can spend some time on the public servers. It's an interesting consideration in this newish always-connected paradigm. You can't give a complete review of an always-connected product with pre-release code. It's not representative of the final product.
  6. What's the first city you'll build?

I think I'm going to start with Hillbilly Hill. Just dirt roads. Maybe some mining. The city will probably be completely flat since the Hillbillies can't afford a hill...
  7. Will you buy Simcity 2013?

I have purchased a physical copy from Amazon (the $20 credit helps). I have a few concerns (mostly with the online requirement and Origin), but from my time with Beta 2 I can tell this is a game I can spend many happy hours playing. SimCity is probably my most beloved of games, as I started with the original on a Commodore 64. I will watch the future of SimCity with care, especially with micro-transactions. I trust the developers at Maxis. I do not trust the executives at EA. Hopefully a balance I can support will be struck.
  8. Dont want to buy Digital deluxe?

I could be wrong, but I don't think $20 Amazon credit apply to digital download. I don't see it when I click pre order. am I doing something wrong? I believe the $20 credit is for a physical disc only.
