Fast Facts on the Republic of Antwerp
jephonesewarrior posted a City Journal entry in The (Small) Republic of Antwerp
Full and Proper Name: Democratic Republic of Sovereign Antwerp Capital: Antwerp Population: December 31st, 2011 census, 85,401 Language(s): English, Antwerpian Russian Currency: Antwerpian Dollar (6 USD) Founded: December 31st, 1911 Government: Constitutional Monarchy Leader: Royal Leader: His Honor and King Sir John II Prime Minister: Sir Joseph Antwerp Military Strength: 12,674 military service men/women History Antwerp was created as a micronation in Russia due to the hatred of Tsar Nicholas II. They were a micronation still under Russian control, but ran a Socialist government under Priemier Joseph Vlinsky Valicinoch Von Dernin III. This nation stayed out of WWI, and many citizens went to protest in Moscow against it. The most famous riot was where Red Square is today the Движение Гранд Социалистическая or in English "The Grand Socialist Movement". In 1922, Russia went communist, and for some strange reason Vladmir Lenin granted soveirgnty to Antwerp. Although, a few weeks later the last of the Dernin family died out (Antwerp ran on a family based communism). A civil war broke out in the country. On one side, was the promoters of the Romanov family (no not Nicks family) and on the other, the Bissconochs. Oddly enough, most of the 12,000 deaths (the Population then was 1,234,567) occured while on Russian soil. On June 16th, 1925, the Romanovs captured the city of Antwerp. The war was over. During WWII, Antwerp fought against the Axis, and even firebombed Berlin several times. One bomb landed near the Eagle's Nest. After WWII, which Antwerp lost only 1,997 people fighting in, fought in the Cold War. They tested their first (and last) nuke on December 9, 1953. The bomb didnt detonate. It was a failure. In 1982, protesters hit the streets of Antwerp against Antwerpian Communist Party (ACP). After 9 months of Protesting and the Horrid Death (article on that later) Premeir Jolkyn Vasconnochh (Related to the General in one of my other CJs) resigned and was put in exile. The new leader, Prime Minister Jaon Van Buren, announced the creation of "The Democratic Republic of Soveirgn Antwerp". The King was coronated 2 days later. After 9/11, the Antwerpians were angry at al Qaeda for killing 19 Antwerpians. They invaded Afghanistan seven weeks later. When King John I was assassinated on July 1st 2011, the new king was coronated and the funeral for the king was one of the most televised events in Russia. Russians launched in invasion of Antwerp in September (which horribly horribly failed). So now Antwerp is now no longer a micronation as of July 9, 2011. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________-- Comment and Rate Jephonesewarrior P.S. jephonesewarrior posted a City Journal entry in Bisnauvanaul, Poland- 1939-1945
OhLondon Telegraph Co. London, Eng. Mr. Churchill, I would like to inform you that the Nazis have just taken the small town of Bisnauvanaul in Poland. This town could've been a great deal of help due to the cattle and crops there. We need to take that town back. I know it's only been 3 days since the war started, but we need to fight to get that town... and fast! Please, send more troops to the Polish theater and we will get that town back. Sincerely, Gen. Montgomery P.S The Germans have also taken many of the town's population to labor camps due to opposition. And, they are taking all of their belongings and burning them. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Oh. Hello there. Sadly, this telegram is right: the Nazis have taken our town. I live here and have lived here for my whole life. I will keep you up to date on whats happening in town. Hopefully this artiicle wont be my last, due to the Nazis taking socialists to their "labor" camps. As long as we keep quiet... oh i almost forgot!! My name!! My name is Misha Paloski. The latest news: none. The Nazis have done nothing since they got here. They did take some prisoners, but i wouldn't call that news. Goodbye, Misha Paloski of Bisnauvanaul 1939 -

City of Austincom Canada Peace Tower: This tower is based off of British Columbia's CN Tower. It is shorter than the actual one, due to height laws (it's downgraded by ten feet). This tower was built in 1998 by Americans and Canadians, to signify peace. The opening ceromony was on October 8, 2000. Today, you may ride up the elavator to the top of this glorious structure. Greater Austin News.com (gan.com) 4.1 quake strikes outside Downtown Austin Regal- At 4:53pm today, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck the city of Austin. People in downtowran outside and schools had students duck and cover. Yes, this was on the San Andreas Fault, but the epicenter was in Regal, a suburb of Austin. 3 people are dead, and 17 are injured. This isn't really big news due to earthquakes happening all the time. Here are some pics of damage in downtown Austin. Sorry no pictures. the smoke is to much to shoot photos. In other news...
You have some things, but you also need some things. The things you NEED are in bold. You have a coastal city. You need to show a soccer stadium, a swimming pool, and another venue of any kind. You've shown none so far. The region has favorable elevations and a temperate climate. You need to create a logo. You need more pictures. You have facts. JUST TAKE CARE OF THE THINGS IN BOLD, AND PUT THEM IN THIS CJ ENTRY. ONCE YOU DO THAT, YOU'RE QUALIFIED.
i have now added that. i have a baseball stadium, if you need to see that -

Hey guys! This picture represents the small town of Regal, in southern CA. The town has a population of around 350 souls. Near Downtown Regal, is The University of Southern California at Austin. The was around WAY before Austin was (founded by Spaniards in 1678). As you can see, there are some pretty nice buildings in the town. Haha. I didn't use any new buildings to make the town. Now, here's a pic of the University of Austin (or Southern California). The school is home to around 12,000 students aged 18-22. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, there you have it! thanks for reading, and rememver to comment jephonesewarrior Here are comments from the last entry: I'm glad my instructionsworked. I'm a cali native so this looks really nice- Makes me want to return. 3/5titanicbuff The city looks nice, but it can improved a lot 1) Terraforming the land before building will make the city looks pretty awesome. Check some city journals for inspirations. 2) If you don't have N.A.M., get it. It will make your transportation system way more efficient, as well as adding new tools to make it more flexible. 3) Download custom made stuff. The Maxis buildings are O.K., but you can customize your cities to make them more personal. 4) Always hide the tool bar and the U.D.I. icons. The rest are up to you. Keep it up and have fun Terring
