Pennsylvania does have the turn right on red, like New Jersey. That's one of my favorites. Below is a stack interchange in my area. It connects I-81, I-84/380, and U.S. 6 in Scranton, PA. Flat, very flat. I think when it's all said and done, this will be a great looking region. And look at the farms! Pretty sweet.

I'm not going to download the mod. I like my SimCity plain and unsalted. Still, Toroca is right for the most part about stage limits. It's too easy to get residential stage 7's and 8's early on while commercial stage 7's and 8's take time to get. From the looks of the details of the mod, it is much more realistic than what it is now. I suggest if you're a mod lover and you like realism, download it now. The way I'll do it for now is zone low and med density zones while my high density zones will be developed way later.

New Urbanism is an interesting concept, I think. It kind of goes back to the past, before the 1950s where every town had everything you needed. Suburban sprawl has gone a little far in a lot of areas. I'll use the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA area as an example, where I live. There's a lot of new development in the Wilkes-Barre area in many places. It's nice to have new places, new businesses, but they're all outside of the downtown area, which is in distress. Businesses downtown either shut down or relocated to the outskirts. My area is now consisting more of strip malls, industrial parks, and suburban residential communities. Plans to revitalize downtown areas are in the works, but it could be too little, too late. Scranton has its own problems. While Scranton made a smart move by placing a major shopping mall downtown, adding new businesses, and fixing up the area, sprawl continues. A city that is millions in debt doesn't help, either. More industrial parks, commerce parks, and strip malls continue to be built. What makes this worse is that there's a lot of land that could be reused. We're still suffering from our past as a coal-mining area. Acres and acres of land are taken over by culm, or anthracite coal waste, that should be cleaned up and redeveloped. This problem is more unique to my area, though. My area consists of lots and lots and lots of small communities, where only a tiny handful are really self-sufficient. While a few towns tried to redevelop parts of town, it hasn't helped. Unfortunately, New Urbanism will not be accepted everywhere. We need more New Urbanism communities and Old Urbanism communities, but I think people need to change first. People like cars, and some people don't mind driving for an hour or more to get to work. The suburbs will remain for quite some time. It can't work in SimCity, though. I think mixed zones and less dependency on roads is needed first. I think I went a little off-topic.

I don't own a single mod, and I don't plan to use the diagonal street mod, but this looks very promising. Maxis should have done this, but maybe they said, "Hey! Let's have Simtropolis do it for us?" Good luck, even though I won't be using it.

New York is not easy to create, but you have done a great job. I want to see more. But you're missing Yankee Stadium, I think. Forget Shea!

New Transportation Options: 9/10-The new roads is great, but I was surprised that the Route Query would be so valuable! It works so well. I still can't get mass transit, right, though. U-Drive-It: 5/10-Somewhat impressed. Fun to play with, but it gets old. European Tile Set: 9/10-More buildings are always better. Bridges: 10/10-The biggest eye-candy improvement! So many choices. I have think about which bridge I want, and it sometimes takes several minutes. Disasters: 5/10-Not that big on these unrealistic disasters. UFO believers, sorry, but unrealistic. Floods or hurricanes would have been better. Personalization Feature: 8/10-Naming every road seems too time-consuming, but I do like naming my avenues, highways, and natural features. My Sims: 3/10-Don't use the MySim feature, and the microphone doesn't seem helpful. The graphs and charts help enough. And I noticed the llamas in my city aren't very smart. Music: 9/10-Excellent soundtrack, way better than the original. Route Query: 10/10-The single-most useful feature in the game. Those people at Maxis are geniuses! Overall: 7.5/10-Besides some unnecessary features I don't need, it's a great expansion.

I think 99% of us evolved from SC3K fanatics into SC4 fanatics. It's the cycle of life. I have gone back to playing SimCity on the SNES on rare occasions, just for the nostalgia.
