The odd thing is that this issue has not arrisen on the forum that I am a Sr. Mod of. They upgraded to 3.3 and not one animated avatar died. I remember when posting an opinion on the internet needed a basic knowledge of servers and HTML, then came blogs that required an IQ in the double digits, now there is Facebook and Twitter... You can fill in the rest. -

Animated avatars have broken because the forum is loading a generated thumbnail that does not support animated gifs, lazy programmers. The image next to our posts is in this format(broken): /uploads/profile/photo-thumb-[uID].[EXT] But the correct format, as seen on our profiles, is: /uploads/profile/photo-[uID].[EXT] Well done once again IPS for breaking avatars! -

Thanks everyone. The grass isn't that much of a slowdown on my i7-2600k, it renders faster than most MR materials! I have shortened it, I did not notice how tall it was in the last posted render. I picked this grass because it is the only grass I could find that looked anywhere near realistic, all the others looked flat and tilled.
