I got this error [#10863]You may not download any more files until your other downloads are complete when trying to download I'm using firefox, and I was downloading a bunch of stuff and the download window froze or something, so I tried restarting and tried to re-download what I was trying to get, but I keep getting that error... is there any way to fix this? The download window (for firefox) has nothing in it, I stopped the downloads that were there thanks

Ok.. sounds good I downloaded a Toronto map and its rendering now Thanks for the info, and hope to hear back EDIT: Also.. is there a way to change umm.. not sure what they call them... how big a city is? like when you first load a region.. all those white lines? like tiles or something.. is there a way to change how many.. or how big or where they go?

Okay.. I did put it in the maxis one.. I put it in my document one now But I tried that ctrl alt shift R thingy and found the buffalo.jpg and tried to render but it must be the wrong size? says Region Generation error Region bitmap size is incorrect ~~ 2049x2049. should be 1025x1025 how do I change the size? Also.. whats the diffrence between the SC4 in my documents, or in the maxis file? Like when I download stuff for plug-in's where is it supposed to go?

I dunno if I'm doing something wrong.. but I downloaded the Buffalo New York map, put those 2 files into the region, started the game, loaded an existing region, then tried to find the one I made.... but it's not showing? I was told to check this guide out.. I downloaded the buffalo one, put the config.bmp into the region folder. I named a folder Buffalo New York that I put it into I was told to download Terraformer, and to open up that region in it? But nothing shows up? Maybe this is the wrong information I been told.. What steps do I need to follow to download these maps from ST EXchange? Anyone got a map for idiots book? lol Thanks for any help

Well, I think I got something to work. I tried downloading it to a folder I made on my desktop, and then copy/paste into the plug-in folder. Now the strange thing is, (I don't remember this a year ago when I played) is that when I created a folder in the Plug-in folder and copy/pasted the files into it, it was asking me for like.. administrative privileges Anyone know how to stop that? If not I can live with the extra clicking and whatnot lol.. will just take a bit longer Anyways, thanks again all

Well... I don't know what to do I re-downloaded Sim City 4 deluxe, along with the rush hour. I tried the WinZip thing but nothing seems to be getting extracted into the plug-in folder?? and I'm using VISTA laptop, not window's 7

Do you get this problem when u are using Winrar? Or is it only that specific file? Some other option might be to try and use WinZIP, install that and try it again... And some word of advise, if you are getting alot pc problems, it might be usefull to do a clean re-install of your windows... It solves alot of problems in a bang :-) I downloaded a police station, went to extract with WinRAR and got that error window. I tried with a few other building downloading thingys and same thing. -I'm using firefox, so when I download, it downloads through the download window thingy and that automatically opens with WinRAR and then I extract it I'll try WinZip and see if it works Also, what do you mean by a clean re-install of windows? Hi, I just re-installed sim city 4 deluxe and I haven't played it in like a year I tried downloading something to see if it would work... and well... it didn't D: It download, opened winrar and then I went to extract it to the plug-in file and I get this error window saying WinRAR: Diagnostic messages <(name of popup window) C:blah\blah\blah\blah\ Pizza Hut.zip: cannot create LJS Pizza Hut/LJS Pic.jpg The system cannot find the path specified it does this with all the files that are in it I think Does anyone know how to fix it? or am I doing something wrong? My PC has been messing up alot lately, maybe I have an error somewhere.. Thanks for any help, sorry if wrong section

(Google Waterloo Regional Police if you need more images, these 2 were the only close ups I could find... all the details look like its there) Tim Hortons I cant find any good pictures... but can anyone make this kind of Tim Hortons... Also http://www.monarchbandb.com/safeway.JPG This type of building style... but some of the new Safeway stores have the beige textures like the Tim Hortons (above) For anyone that has seen Safeway stores, they have the Pharmacy logo and Starbucks logo on the front, if those can be added that would be cool, also maybe a Safeway sign on the parking lot by the road... Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: I think the police car skin would be good for anyone that lives in and around Kitchener Ontario and the Tim Hortons and Safeway would look nice and are now aday buildings...(dunno how to say it) The ones i've seen on the STEX look like there from a long time ago, these would look up to date?..

The Scale says 1:250 000 Can anyone explain how I would go about measuring?... I'm not the greatest at math or maps XD

How do I tell the scale of the map? Its just a normal like road map of random towns and cities
