Dude, there's alot of different bulding not from NYC or invented... like the red one at the bottom near the water (sorry don't remember the name) is from Chicago, there's also the bank of america... located at San Francisco and more... lol Your city seem well done but you need to get more NYC bulding... put commericals things and build them on NYC thing (sorry long time I didn't play SC4 xD) then you'll have bulding that look more like the real ones... Maybe this pic will helps you to see how is the NYC building at the South of the Island... xD This is from the site : http://vazivite.free.fr/newyork/manhattan_avant_sat2.jpg [Please remember that the maximum image size allowed on ST is 800x600 or 600x800]

Favorite Public Transportation System
Blakeway replied to The Terminator's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
... Thinking about my favorite public transportation system after showing you the Chicago CTA... I think I love the Montreal's one too xD Why? 1. Subway = Silencious, because it's the first Subway on tires in the world, so it's very silencious. 2. It's very effective as a transporting system. 3. Very clean, exept some stations. 4. Deserve alot of place with the subway and the Suburbs Trains. 5. Beautiful, doesn't look like the NYC one or the others metallic Subways! LET SEE WHAT IT'S LOOK LIKE! FROM http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=367975&page=2 (IT'S THE MONTREAL METRO VISION THAT THEY WANT TO UPLOAD TO THE ACTUAL SUBWAY) ARTS IN THE SUBWAY STATIONS! In every stations, there is differents arts things, lile stained glasses, paints, sculptures, et cetera. ALL IN ONE!!! This is the new magnetic card that we need to have (cost 12$CAD) to use the student reduction, month pass and others... If you're a tourist, pay by pieces or buy the 1 week tarif and tell you're a tourist to the employes. The new systeme that was introduce in 2008 works well but there's difficulty with the magnetic in the busses and some in the subway but you have just to be patient! : -

Blakeway replied to The Terminator's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Chicago has the best transporting System, I'm not living there and I went to alot of different Subways in North America and Europe but it still the best! It's the CTA! You have the Underground Subway, the Loop (a Subway that turn around the Loop Area (the downtown of Chicago) that is located above the roads), the Busses that are very well done and the Train, that make you go to the suburbs! There's also taxis, cars and airports installations that the CTA is responsable. Some pics of the CTA : ----------->>>>>>>> <---Old Pic of CTA CLEAN AND SILENCIOUS (EXEPT THE DOORS VOICE : "DOORS CLOSING") Suburbs Trains -

Show us your home City's skyline
Blakeway replied to T-Dot Boy's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Here is my city : Montréal, Québec It's the best one! Look how it's beautiful! This is a view of Montréal Downtown from the old Montréal that we can see in the front of the pic and the modern buildings at the back of the pic! That's Montréal Downtown from Mount-Royal at Winter (It's a big Park where we can do alot of things, activities and see the view! This is typic houses of Montréal localised on the Plateau distric! (from : http://julien.mammouth.free.fr/escaliers/escal_103_0347.htm) Perfect Skyline of Montréal from the "Fleuve" (St-Lawrence River) Le Vieux (The Old Montréal) This is the famous Stade Olympique (Olympic Stadium) of Montréal (Highest Inclined Tower in the World) Montréal International Airport (Located on Montréal Island at Dorval) The St-Helens and the Notre-Dame Islands located near the city-center on the St-Lawrence River. We can see the Voie Maritime at the right of the pic, the Bassin Olympique near the Voie Maritime, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Where the GP of Canada was before the F1 get off Montréal because of a economic subject..., the Casino of Montréal who was the France bulding of the Universal exposition of 1967 (Expo 67), the Biosphere who was the USA bulding of the Expo 67, the Jacques-Cartier Bridge at the back and Laronde, a amusement Park from Six Flags! For the end, this is a satellite pic of the Great Montréal! (First at Winter, Second at Summer)
