That's what the in-game Hydrogen Power Plant is. Then I guess I would like to see a another Hydrogen Power Planet that looks different and is called a Fusion Power Plant.

I'd like to see a Nuclear Fusion Reactor, I checked here on the STEX and the LEX and really didn't find anything. Maybe you can make this reactor more expensive to build, but without the threat of a meltdown?

*It still used Glassbox. *Used CD Keys, instead of always-online DRM *Mulitplayer Region play was optional. *It had a dedicated Single Player mode. *It had Bigger Cities. *It had Bigger Regions. *Itchad Terraforming or a Reigon Creator. *It had Side-by-side cities.

Are there any Mods that will lower desirability?
whrm33 posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Just as it says in the title, are there are mods that will lower desirability in a given area? -
Still nothing.

Is it still running? See if there is a simcity process running in task manager, sometimes (for me anyways) SimCity dosen't seem to quit.
-
It's not there either

The location should be on the C:/Program FIles?maxis/SimCity4. And the SimCity4 official site is already down since long time ago. If you want to ask something, I suggest you to ask about it in the forum, because the maxis site is already stopped working. No, I ment where in the Windows Registry is the SimCity 4 entry. I'm trying to get the SC4 cd key out of the registry, but its not in the default location (i.e HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe). Also, what fourm? I know the SC4 website is dead, that's why I posted this on ST...

I can't find the SimCity 4 entry in the Windows Registry, it's not the default location and I don't have any other drives. So, where else could the registry entry be? This has me stumped. Also, I'm using Windows 7.

Under the City Speicializion button near the City/Reigon view buttons, they should be under gambling.

Same thoughts. Comparing it to recent gaming graphics, it already looks great. You need to understand, it's a simulation game and can only be built on gaming graphics. You can't have all those fancy renders in 3DS Max and some of those city rendering programs, that would take up a heck of a lot of physical memory and would crash the game. So as Sim City is a city building simulation game, it currently looks great and to me most certainly looks to surpass Cities XL (and the performance should be heaps better too). You can't compare Sim City's graphics with SC4 since SC4 was more 2.5D. But looking at today's gaming graphics, Sim City looks awesome. To say it looks cartoonish from those screens is a little picky. Also remember, they're not proper screens (infact, those screens above should of not had been posted and should get taken down, I thought GDC had tight security) and many changes and enhancements to the graphics could still yet come. Lets just wait a bit more for official info and screens. And who knows, they might be showing a build from last year or something.

SimCity: Welcome to the Glassbox Simulation Engine

Reminds me of some of the mods made for Chris Sawyers Locomotion, specifically custom resources. Cool! -
They updated it to say 3/8, which makes more sense seeing as they didn't even post the announcement until 2:30pm PST Heh, reminds me of the live chats Maxis had in the Sims 1/Sims 2 days.

They didn't say much more then "Yeah, were making SC5" at this gamechangers thing. Although, they announced it first and not last. Surprising!
