Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, Singapore
Description:
The centre of performing arts for Singapore, this building features a 1,600 seater concert hall and a 2,000 seater theatre, as well as several small performing venues, a library and a retail mall. There is also a small rooftop garden offering scenic views of the Singapore skyline. The concert hall and theatre feature external cladding which is designed to shade the halls from the strong sun. Sometimes known as the "Durians" due to the resemblance to the tropical fruit.

Why this would be beneficial:
At the moment there are a grand total of three buildings from Singapore in all of the STEX, which is quite sad considering the architecture Singapore has to offer. There are also not many cultural centers, especially Asian ones, available and as this is one of the newest and iconic concert halls around, it would make a good addition to any city.
