Well see the american thought they one because they produced the must weapons but i think that it was the East that (Russia ) that was the winner of the war because they had to move all of thier industry east ward and they had very little help (exept for the usasanaly shipment of sherman tanks ) and if you look at the total number of dead from the west it is very low and then you look at Yoguslavia (sorry if i spelt wrong ) ,China , and the former USSR it is like 3/4 of the allied deaths . So i think the main rule of the us was to be the untouchable factory Also you learn about Britains struggle wear the americans did not help to much against the fasicts and all of London was burned to the ground almost and the effects of the blitz was felt until the late 50s if note later
