By the way, snowboarding was great this year, over 2 meters of snow depth, powder, off piste incredible. Andorra was at its best this year, perhaps the best I ever met.

Nice review Discreet, but if you had wait a couple weeks more, like I sugested would be better, as my CJ has only born two weeks ago and it's only on its second update. Anyway, I left it to your judjement to go ahead with the review or not, and you decided to post it. Nevertheless, a second review sometime later would be of interest to everyone. Thanks for your effort. -

I was going to keep lurking around as I did for the last 3 or 4 months, but you made it completely impossible. I had to jump in and say something. You keep amazing me with your style, and this last 11 pages where I spent a couple of hors today will surelly make me think of coming back sooner than I thought. Everything so well putted together, you surelly haven't lost the Midas touch and I'm really glad you're back at CJing. Also, before I forget, Happy belated Birthday and I hope you had a great day. I hope you had also a fantastic winter and had sometime for a bit of snowboarding. As usual I had, and it was great, been off to Austria this year. Now I'm going to make a visit to a certain 3RR, and if the result is just like in here, I think I cannot hold it for any longer. I'll have a gigantic work on building my plugins folder from scratch. Well, that's all for now and see you soon my friend. [Click] It's on my favourites from now on.

I won't say goodbye or fairwell yet, 'coz I'm anxiously waiting for that final region mosaic, but, I'll surely miss the Fridays looking around for an AVR update, no more dancing bananas for you. Also, despite this is almost over, I'm sure that, between guitar jams and scratches, sooner or later, you will be pulling off your sleeve, something like or even better than AVR. On that day, my dancing banana will show up again, and me and almost everybody will be trilled with your new CJ/MD, what ever. John, my friend, you've done a great job with this CJ. It has been my source of inspiration for a very long time. This CJ, along with a few others (SCR, Nexis, 3RR, Simtropia, Choco's and AleK's CJ's) are the perls of our SimCity 4 community. I don't know what else to say, just good luck, make a break, play guitar, and start a new CJ (as soon as possible) when ever you feel like to, I'll be around still, here or at SC4Dev.

Hi John, firsr I'm sorry I haven't came around for a few weeks now. Actually I did, but didn't had much time to post, and I didn't want to just say hello and bye bye. I can see you turning your abilities to other aspects of the CJeing, Ticker Tapes and other high end tech. Nice. I always love to come aroud and follow your progress through the update like if it was a comic book. I first read the whole update, quickly like I do with comic books, and them I go back and stumble upon the images to see the detailing, that in your case, it's a lot. I'm sure in a while you have again a good colection of images to show us even bigger and better updates. I'll be looking forward for that. Another reason I haven't been around so much, it's because I've been very busy helping out on a big project that soon it will come out. That it's taking my all free time to do other things, but I'm realling enjoying it, and it will be rewarded in the end. Other thing, I can see you like a lot Nexis stuff, Terrace Housing Projects, the H building, etc... I do too, that's I have remodded some, to make them fully functional growables. If you want, I can send them to you, just let me know. Well, that's all for now, gotta get back to work, boss ain't looking to me now, but I have a lot to do. (i'm at work, as you guessed already) See you soon... Silvio

Originally posted by: ILL Tonkso Ooh one of these again, ST must hold a record for these lol.quote> Geez guys, I really can't understand how that one day you trash everything and everybody and the other day you come back and play guilty and try to stop all this. I'm not trying to tell what you shall or not do, but, wouldn't it be better to channel all those energies to play the game, create some new custom content, instead of wasting time typing and reading all this posts/threads?

Both programs, SC4Terraformer or Mapper work under the Vista OS, no problems. Either does all other Wounagaine's tools, including the X

Originally posted by: Firebird Be careful with the DAT Packer, tho. It deletes plugins that you have not used in a while, or are currently not plopped in the game, because it thinks they're 'old and unwanted'. Can be very annoying when you're looking for a long lost cool BAT and have no idea where you got it. Duo core, eh? Sc4 isn't built to run with duo core machines. Makes the game crash and run slow. I would suggest dropping N_O_Body a PM. Hes the best techno-problem fixer out there. quote> Several mistakes in here, it's correct when SC4 was produced there was no dual cores processors around, but, they run the game prety well and no crashes or whatsoever. If you use XP it might use only one of the cores, but, for example if you were using Vista, it runs the game and uses both cores. Even with only one core, the game really works fast enough, and faster if you organize well your plugins folder or use SC4DatPacker. Second and worst mistake, saying that SC4DatPacker erases plugins, big mistake, I advise you to carefully read the readme files of the program, and if you have any doubts, PM Wouanagaine. All this has been like that since I remember, some go but others come, and there is always someone willing to beat the other's post count. Solution: Hide the posts count, they're useless for the active member, why do we need to know if we have 10 posts or 10.000 posts. I'm sure that 50% of the actual useless posts would disapear in no time. And the other 50% in a little while longer. There's always the persistent ones

Nice update John, I can see we have the same taste for some buildings That one and many others made by mrbisonm (Nexis series) and dated from 2003 are very nice, and up until now I use to refrain on using them because I could only plop them and they would not hold any residents. But last week, I managed to revised all those lots and made growables out of them. My Nexis-H-LivingBlock holds now 252/378/504 H,M or L wealth residents. About being patient and wait for the right buildings to grow, I also learned last week a new trick to have certain buildings to grow like weeds. Get SC4Tool or Reader and change 2 numbers there. I can't remember now on which exemplar, building or lot, those parameters are located, but look for Stage growth and change it for 1, and Capacity satisfied and change those value/s for a small number, for instance, 3. Make sure you write down the original numbers. Go back to the game and zone appropriate sizes for those buildings you want to grow and had those properties changed. You will see that they will almost appear immediately after you had zoned. After you have aquired them, save and go back to the SC4Tool or Reader and change those lines to their original values. If you go back to the game, you will notice that those buildings will be have again their original capacities. Well, you probably knew this already, if not, it will be very helpfull for you and other people who likes detailing their cities, like AleK as well but he also has his method. Anyway, was nice to review your MD CJ once again. Have a nice weekend, and see you soon my friend. Cheers Silvio Edit: Looks like Dirk's Magic Toaster has made wonders, it takes now less than 15 seconds to open your CJ, used to take at least around 2 minutes.

[bUMPING]I hate to see this CJ outside page 1 where it belongs, I even wonder why it isn't already pinned up. Great stuff John, I hope you managed already to have that lot's texture figgered out and will be part of next update. It woud be a shame to see a Jestarr lot putted aside for any reason. Cheers my friend Silvio [/bUMPING]

Another option would be, I don't if it suits you, the only lot I have uploaded so far, Rayden's Power Plant.
