Well, when i finally downloaded and installed the SKU 1 update and the Nightlighting update, the whole of my Minor league stadium disappeared! i reinstalled the game, and the problem was solved...maybe this is your problem?

uh, i would recommend that you set the city detail/graphics detail to medium, and if you don't it REALLY looks crap...you won't be ablr to get crystal clear buildings on the closest and second closest zoom, but that's allright, as you don't need too much detail if you do the U-drive its, which is really important if you want to unlock certain reward buildings/ unlock building before the requirements are met...of course you could always cheat but that takes out all of the fun

Hmm, i don't know if this counts as a milestone, but i think i recieved a random label! It was prefect hitchhiker...nice to get a random label so early on...and i know its a random label, because i was a squatter, then this, while ewd76, who has 3 or so more posts then me is still a squatter! am right, or am i right? I have Photoshop, and Image reader, they came together, plus i use paintshop pro 7 and jasc animation works 3, so i have all that i need, i only got photoshop a few days ago from a friend, so i'm still learning how to do it, but i used image reader to compile all of the shots that SC4 did when i used the recorder cheat. Note: when you use the recorder function in SC4, it will record all of your movements as Jpeg, ping's, and even gif images, so you need a program that can string all of them together, and produce and animation.Not that i recommend using the ingame recorder, as it produces very small images, about 160x100, or something like that...

ewd76: This is true, and its is called the Billion Dollar Glitch. If a person get to, or exceeds $1 billion ( easy to do with the moohlah cheat) they get kicked out of the game, the reasoning being that noone would need more than 1 billion, and nobody actually needs more than 10 million...I think.

Actually, you can find them when your'e above ground, you just have to zoom to the closest level, and they only appear in the month of october (think halloween). sometimes you will also see sims in the graveyard, and if they see the zombies, they scream and run away! also the zombies seem to migrate to the centre, where the tomb is...

Hi there..., ok, two things about the cheats: Create exception: WARNING! This will CRASH your game!! it was created by maxis to test the game, and is an old remnant, like all the others... Also, with moohlah, you can enter a negative number, and it will change it to that! Eg: moohlah -500, will make you §500 in the red! An oddity, but anyway. Hope that helps! Strat

well i thought it would only happen to the medium density buildings, as they would be obvious candidates for the undergroung parking lots...low density, you always see the car parked in the driveway...it think it might only be on the edge of the map, and i always wondered where those 72 ppl parked...but my city uses tons of mass transit from the beggining, so most of them are pedestrians

well i have found, by working costs, that the nuclear power plant is basically the same as the soalr power plants in terms of cost, its just got 4x the capacity, but capacity/costs works out the same as the solar power plant. i haven't worked out the hydrogen plant, but i would recommend using these sources of power, to supplement , and not replace, your power generation. i usually shove all my power into a trash town, where all of the industry is, until my city has earned a solar plant, then i can put it down, and reduce my neighbor deal... anyway that probably wasn't very helpful but there you go!

At the LEX, there is a program, called Clip2Pic. whenever you want to take a picture all you have to do is press prtscn, and it is automatically saved as a .jpg! Although you will have to register twice, once for SC4D, and then once for the LEX ,but i can assure you, it worth it! Hope that helps!

Well, i used to have random crashes, but then they stopped, dunno why, but then when i downloaded the trafficfix.dat, and the mod that allows you to view transit buildings in zone view, everytime i zoomed in to level5, it did a CTD! also i couldn't access my cities that i had created before downloading this, when they finished loading, they would CTD . Plus i couldn't put down my bus/subway lots that could go in the road/ one way/ avenue, onto said road,etc. i had to put it next to it for some reason. So don't download those things! Or it could be my computer. And it has really bad specs, i'm too embarrased to show then to you...

Ok, well i found a glitch/easter egg in the game... If you query a building in sc4, and then click on its name, i.e "sim spa and beauty" you can highlight the name, or click in the box where the name is and press backspace, and then type in what ever you want, and the building will be renamed this! Please note: ALL buildings that are exactly the same to the building you renamed, will be renamed the same name that you gave the first building. if you were to name a small police station" fisrt precint" ALL small police station will be named "first precint"

I also found that when you click on the snow man, his right arm moves up and down!( the one next to simtropolis)

Strategist01 - that's interesting about subways, doubling up roads or making them bigger is obvious but never thought of that, if you double up the line do you put another station in as well, right next to the other one?quote> well as i usually have lond line running parallel to each other to save money, i would usually put a line across them all where i saw that most of the subway traffic converged it usually clars that up. if that doesn't work, i would put i line next to it, attach it at both ends to the line that is congested, and to feed into it, i would skip two tiles from the nearest subway station and add a line that branches into it, usually diagonally, for best flow.

well i only lay down subway lines once i see a profusion of bus usage across the board, and also i put the bus stops/ sub stations about six blocks apart, so no one station is too crowded. if my sibway lines get too crowded, i just run a line next to it to combat that problem. i generally place a subway station on every block thats about 4x4 tiles, in one corner.bus stops next to it if i remember to. if i don't i just use one that can fit into a road.
