After hours of removing and reinstalling mods I finally narrowed my problem done to the new offline bridge and tunnel mod. My problem is I am unable to zone or plop any building on any road. Also notice the interchange at the entrance of the city is gone. I have read over and over the steps for both Akar and the offline bridge and tunnel mod by Metro0214 and can not figure out what I did wrong. Also lost the parklet menu. Does anyone know what I am missing that caused me to lose my snap points on the roads, and the parklets menu.

I am sorry I was not clear. When I say I can not plop or zone I mean on basic road types. I can start a city draw an ave out form the city entry and I can zone, plop, whatever. But then without doing anything but laying out the ave, save the game exit to desktop and then restart the city, and all the snap points are gone and no more zoning abilities. I don't even make it to using any other type of mod and or regional road types. Its just strange to me that before the 3k boundaries take over it seems to work, but after it does I can not even build within the actual city. Once I reload the game all I can do is lay out roads. I apologize I did not explain it more clearly.

Thank you Chappers , I have looked over your mod list and compared to mine. Made sure I had all the files you do and then started a game. Everything seem to be working, but that was before I saved the game, exited to desktop, and then restarted game for the 3k boundaries to take affect. Once I did this I lost all snap points again and I am unable to plop and/or zone anything anywhere. So once again I am confused at what exactly it is that I am doing wrong. Thank you for your help

Thank you for your response. I do have the high res akar, then I put in mod 00-project akar2.0+ bridge and tunnel mod with low res parklets. Did not work. I then tried the high res akar with 000akar2.0.1.2.1.0.5+bridge and tunnel with parklet low res did not work. I then tried both akar bridge and tunnel mods at the same time did not work. I have tried a save and start over in game with each version but nothing has worked.

Thank you for the response. I had overlooked one file, I knew that the mods did not work with each other. However there was an option for downloads in the bridge and tunnel mod for Akar. I downloaded them and placed them in the folder. Not only do I still have no parklet menu I have no bridge or tunnel options even though I have downloaded both of these mods "000 Akar 2.0.1.2.1.0.5 + bridge and tunnel.zip" & "000 Akar 2.0.1.2.1.0.5 + bridge and tunnel low.zip. I have tried both in my folder as well as one then the other at separate times. Nothing is working. I am sure it is something stupid that I am over looking like normal.

So last nite I was looking around on the sites seeing if NAM had been updated. Not been able to play for awhile. Anyway I was not paying attention to what I was doing and thought I was downloading a newer version. So I delete the one I had and went to install the newer one. Thats when I realized it was a addon pack fixing some bugs and other tech stuff like that. I looked for the actual NAM on this site and did not find it also went to SC4Devotion and it was locked on that site. Can anyone help me get the latest version of NAM? Please

I want to change the text of the highway signs to better fit my citys. That way they will show the city limit of my towns, highway numbers I choose to use, things like that. Which do I need to be able to do this. Lot Editor or Bat. Any and all help would be very appreciated. Also I am new to using both of those programs. In fact this will be my first attempt at trying to build or modd anything. So any pointers would also be very appreciated. Thanks Craizedmanic

This may have been asked already, but are there any canal locks for the new can-am. Also are there any canal to SC4 water locks. For the canals used with the can-am.

To take away the 2nd amendment would not only be a sad day, but it would also be a huge step backwards for this country. I see this topic as a possible crime aganist civil rights. You all are the first to yell about civil rights when it comes to abortion, homosexuals, and anything esle you feel are not receiving those rights. Well what about my right to protect my family, my country. If anyone comes into my house and is threatening my family I will protect them by any means that I can. I will also do the same for my country if need be. You all need to read a history book, with open eyes, and realize this country will not last. Every single super power thruout history has fallen. We will some day as well, and when that happens, well strats to happen, I will not go without a fight. You see I still hold dear to my heart all the sacrafice, through all the years, that made this country what it is. I am still proud to be an American ( not that you all are not), and it means so much to me to be able to stand and say that I am free. However if this right is taken away from us how much longer can we say that. As for the poster that made the statment about guys bringing assualt rifles into schools. Lets say that a high school kid enters a school and opens fire on the school. The amendment has been taken away. So clearly this kid is breaking the law, but something tells me that he could care less. Before the law was passed, one of the teachers in the school was a well trained marksmen. However with the new law being passed it forced the law abiding teacher to turn in his gun. Now clearly their are no firearms at school, but with his training and his concealment permitt the school board had voted to allow him to carry his weapon, but since the new law passed he no longer had it. I said all of that for this. The kid comes in kills some other kids and wounds many more, but if the teacher had still been allowed to carry his wepon he could have ended the massacre before it got that bad. You want to take away guns because they kill people( even though they do not. It takes a person to make them deadly) what about alcohol and drunk driving. That right there takes more lives than guns every year. Lets not stop at guns though lets get ride of knifes, hammers, crowbars, baseball bats, etc. All of this can and does take lives. The absence of guns will not end murder or even slow it down. The removal of this Amendment would only place the law abiding citizens at harm. Even though I think we are already there, because theives have more rights when they break into your home than you do. If they get hurt then somehow you have to pay. Where is the justice in that. They say justice is blind, but now days it clearing stands on the wrong side. What we as a nation need to remember is that there is no grey area. When man attempts to make a grey area common sense will all ways lose.

Just downloaded the new NAM and was wondering which traffic simulator would be the best to use.

To the religion ? Manticorefan has it pretty close. What I have always been taught is the child is born into sin, meaning the world. (Or born into a world full of sin) The child its self has no sin. The child has not been taught right from wrong and therefor has no understainding of sin. It is a "learned behaivor" ( I use that simply to make my point). The baby or child is pure an with out sin. Explodingsims: you are right in a way. What the "church" means by free ride to heaven is reaching the age of accountabitly. Until the child reaches an age of understaing that he/she is doing wrong then they can not be held accountable. That of course falls on the mom and dad to teach their child the differences and then with an understanding of wrong form right the child chooses to or not to belive in a higher power. Thus reaching the age of accountabitly. It is at different ages of everyone. Hope this helps. It is the easiest wasy (belive it or not ) to explain. If some think the father should have to pay half for an abortion , but not have say if she keeps it or not is (in my opinion) wrong. Why should the man have to pay for a womans choice, expecially if he wants the child. After all abortion is just a "cop out". A way to earse a "mistake" To me that is the lowest form of deadbeat parenting that can be. Everyone knows the risk going into the "fun", but noone whats to own up to their responcibilty. There are many other way worse things that can happen. I would rather have a child as opposed to having an uncurable STD. If a man runs or refuses his reponcibilty's then he is a dead beat, but a women can earse it and everything is just fine. I completly disagree. I realize rape is a completly different story. To take a life is murder. It is that clear. To many people now days have to create a grey area to make themselves feel ok with the decision they chose to make. By doing this they get other people to become blinded from the truth. It amazes me that when women make theirselves lose their child it is aganist the law. If a man walks up to the women and does something to cause her to lose it also aganist the law. If she has the child and throws it away or abandons the child then it is neglect or murder. If a doctor preforms the abortion or partial brith then everything is fine and dandy. How can the exact same things have 2 different outlooks from the law. If in one case it is a human life then it has to be a human life all the way around. If you want a choice then choose not to have sex. Be an adult. If your 12, 13, 15, etc. then worry more about being a kid and les about being an adult. The truth is this will never be sovled as long as their are people you choose not to take responcibility of their actions. I think it is as simple as this old saying. If you play you pay. Think about outcomes before you make a decisions. After all if you get hooked on drugs is it your fault or the person that got you hooked. YOURS you made the choice.

I have no idea if this will work or if you have tried it. I have not missed with that alot but on some of the stations I found that they did not work (like the GRL) until I dragg the track all the way through the station. Like I said I am not sure this will help, but I hope that it does. Good luck

Frist let me say that I thought both partys placed men that was not what the nation needed. However I feel that McCain is the lesser of two evils. From all of the replys (as well as the nation reaction) I have notice just how blind people are. Just how ignorant the nation as a whole really is. You Obama fans rushed into a decison desparate of a change. I ask will the change you seek be the change that happens? I feel that over the frist few months the people who can truly look at the world open-minded will see that it will not be that change. I do not dislike Obama because of his race (that in no way plays a part in my feelings towards him). I am simply just trying to look at this has an open-minded person ( it is very hard to do). Some of you have dissmissed the accusations of Obamas patriotism that was placed on the internet. It stated that he chose not to face OUR flag. He does not say OUR pledge of allegiance, and that his father was enovled with terrorism. I am sure that there are others I have left out. These however are the main ones in my opinnion. Can we the American people take the chance that these statements are not true. I say no we can not. The simple possiabilty that they may be true is enough not to risk it. Unfortunately not many share my opinions. I did not get the user names but if you read them then you see it when you get to the post. The statement was made in the post that he basically could care less of the fcat that Obama did not face our flag and that he (the poster) did not pledge the allegiance anymore. That he had done it all the way through elementry school and was all pledge out. He then asked if that made him unpatriotic, and stated that his grandfather was a very decorated solider. My answer to him is Yes that makes him along with all others that do not show their respect to our nation symbols of freedom to be very UNPATRIOTIC. I also believe that his grandfarther would share my opinion. Those symbols are the very same symbols in which his grandfarther fought to protect. This great nation was founded on prinicpals that in todays world are forgotten. Anyway back to Obama. The main thing that people are not talking about is his name. You see Obama has in fact all ready changed this world this nation. Hussain is his middle name and the press is unable to place that in the main line media. Maybe I am misstaken but does the frist amendment of our Constitution not have the freedom of the press and speech in it. This simple and to many unharmful action taken by Obama is just the start of his so called change for America. For all of us that were not mislead by his words and can see him for him can tell he has a completely differnet goal than that in which he claims to have. I watched his acceptance speech last night. I watched his persona his body language. Joy and happiness were far from what he was showing last night. He smiled a total of three times I think (not many at all. He had dislike all over his face. Love for this country is not even a thought in his mind. What kinda of man especially the frist African-American man to become president not show more excitement. I feel to vote for a man because of the color of his skin is ignorant, and that goes both ways. For all that voted for McCain just because he is white is just as ignorant as those that voted for Obama just because he is black. Now just think really think if Obama as already made a change (as small as it may be to some) not being president what is to come. The freedom of the press and speech have already begun to be taken away. What right will Obama take away next in his "change". (I know things are kept out of the press all the time, but this is different. How because his name is Hussein its proven its fact. All other cover up causes what have you may or may not be true). Maybe I stand alone on this maybe I dont. Whatever the cause maybe the next four years will be interesting (if we last that long). Again I hope that my opinions are taken for what they are. That is just trying to get people to see that what looks good and sounds good is not and most of the time not good. Obama along with very other president in history always says what is needed to get elected and then does something else. I just hope the something esle is not something this nation can not handle. For the one thing you learn in history is that all great nations eventually fall.

This is my frist post. I had stop playing sim4 for awhile. I just found all these sights with all this cool stuff about a month or 2 ago. So I have been messing with the new Nam (well new to me). I have placed a few double decker (el-rail and road), and notice that when I wanted a station I had to lay some rail that was not over the road. I was wondering if it was possible to have a station that could be placed over the road. I think it would be helpfull if it could go over ave also. Also wondering if a bridge could be made that has a lower level for rail. It would be more realstic (well that may not be right I dont know of any in real life). I do know of some in the planning stages, but it would be way more helpful really on the smaller lands.
