  1. BAT Request Thread

United States Bullion Depository (“Fort Knox”) Description: The United States Bullion Depository, commonly known as ‘Fort Knox’, officially holds over one hundred and forty million troy ounces of gold on behalf of U.S Treasury Department. The estimated current value of the deposit on the open market exceeds two hundred billion U.S dollars. It is the second-largest deposit of gold bullion in the United States. For obvious reasons, security was a high priority in the design of this facility. Below the fortress-like structures lies the gold vault lined with granite walls and protected by a blast-door weighing 22 tons. Few technical details about its security features are known to the public. Its security is overseen by the United States Mint Police, as well as U.S Army units garrisoned nearby. Obviously the Simoleon currency is backed (at least a partially) with gold reserves. -Other BATers have made Reserve Bank buildings and Mints, its only fitting that a facility exists to store the reserves in a secure environment. -The building should not be technically difficult to replicate in BAT, even if close-up photographs are difficult to find. -As a landmark, it should have a tourism-boosting effect.
  2. Hey there everybody! I've been with SimCity since the original game in 1989, through to 2000, 3000, 3000 Unlimited and of course SimCity 4. Maxis and SimCity has entertained me for nearly two decades. Shock and horror. I am running stock SimCity 4 Deluxe without any mods or new BATs beyond custom maps. I had trouble with stability after modding SimCity 4 about the time it was released - once bitten twice shy. Here is where I am going to cause a ruckus - I don't consider Societies a canonical continuation of the SimCity franchise. Yeah, point at me and laugh, I'm old-school. -Andoria
